Bottle picked up locally from recent notes. Pours a mostly clear golden amber color with a small off white head. bottle @ Belmont Party Supply / Dayton OH --- Aroma of musty malt and caramel. Cloudy brown, bubbly, watery beige head that soon disappears, a few strips of lace. Taste is watery caramel malt, light fizz, and only alcohol to cover the short finish. An odd brew, because it has a big body, but a thin watery influence is there as well. Bottle from Tres Bonne Cuisine. Dull, lifeless pour, looks like an iced tea. Deep caramel aroma, with a definite musty character. Cloudy, brown with an ice-tea foam top.
Bready, oxidized....caramel aroma.
Sweet, stale, baked bread....old taste.
Nutty, wooden and thick.
Not good...very unpleasant.

I think this is the right beer, has the same commercial description but a different label. Bottle. Sweet caramel overload in the nose with a surprising sledgehammer of gooey toffee. Pours a transparent red-caramel with no real head. Taste is almost unbearable sweet, thin with a little candy-ish roast, a dirty dirt aftertaste and fills me with the unbearable urge to defecate (from the mouth). Bottle. Pours orangey amber with a medium, large-bubbled head. Aroma and flavor are caramel, very sweet (even harshly so), a bit of fruit -- that’s about it. Pours a rich amber brew with a crisp, off-white head. Light orange hue. Malty aroma with outlying dusted cider wood. Interesting malted complexity in aroma and flavor. Warming. Some nuttiness and brown sugar on the palate with hints of wood and cider. Dusty, old-barrel-aged quality. Candi caramel on the finish too. A sturdy wintere brew. Lightly hazed copper color with only a thin lid of off-white bubbles. Savory malt, caramel, toffee and dark maple syrup and buckwheat pancake aromas. Deep malt scents with additional peat and iodine. Just too much candy in the nose for me. Sweet flavors from the start. Brown sugar and light candied fruit attack. Finish has a bit of herbal hops and oak. Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a small, rocky, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, toffee, nutty), average hop (flowers, grass), average yeast (earth, broth) with notes of date, apple, and cola. Medium bodied, slick texture, lively carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.
