2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
16.9 FL OZ ($4.25) this is a heavy beer. Taste is like a triple strength flavor of a lager and only a little bit of the High ABV seeps through.
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2017 I really like this one. Solid wholesome apricot
notes. Solid mouthfeel from 12oz bottle. No head. Dark orange somewhat opaque, cloudy color. Nice maltiness. 9.3 bd ordybill (1759) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - APR 27, 2017
Poured from a 500 ML bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Savannah, GA. The appearance was your basic traditional lager look. The aroma was off-putting, with a strong medicinal odor. The flavor was slightly above "horrid". The best part of this beer was the unique beer label. snoworsummer (5698) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 11, 2016
Bottle. Tastes like candied malt, sweet dried fruits, light booze, and faint citrus hops. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet dried fruits, candied malt, and faint citrus hops. wombat23 (1427) - Texas, USA - JAN 7, 2016
Shared 16.9 oz. bottle. Amber in color with small off-head head. Aroma of sweet malt, alcohol, and a chemical component similar to paint-thinner. Tastes better than it smells, but that’s not saying much. Tastes of very sweet malt, sweet syrup, booze, and the aforementioned notes of paint-thinner (or possibly nail polish remover). I was able to finish my half of the bottle, but it was a laborious undertaking. There’s no way I could have finished the whole bottle (nor would I have wanted to...) darbeer75 (904) - Round Rock, Texas, USA - JAN 6, 2016
Aroma: reminiscent of rotten apple juice; Appearance: amber with very thin head that disappears quickly; Taste: isn’t as bad as the smell, but still pretty awful; notes of cleaning product; Palate: unpleasant, rotten finish; Overall: I can’t believe I actually finished it; now used as a new low bar ("at least it’s not as bad as LL..."). Never again.

Nice golden color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of sweet malt, cereal/grain, & some fruit; Flavor of sweet malt, cereal, honey/caramel, and fruit; Warm finish; Not bad for what it is. Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - NOV 2, 2015
2 Nov 2015, bottle. yellow, clear, steady bubbles. nose is toasty, cheap caramel syrup. med body and mildly fizzy. alcohol is strong and bitter, sweet caramel malt. a lot of alcohol with not much else to commend it. tillmac62 (736) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - JUL 13, 2015
Pours a clear copper hued gold. Normal head volume, poor retention and lacing.
Light lager style nose with a touch of cherry, apple and grape over a very mild biscuit. Alcohol is evident.
Light medium body with a nice somewhat creamy texture. Below normal carbonation with very little effervescence in the finish.
The flavor profile is good, but is too focused on the alcohol. The complexity of the nose has to struggle to be noted in the middle. Also in the middle, a solid biscuit sweetness arrives to attempt balance, but falls short due to alcohol. Underneath, this is a quite tasty lager that could approach outstanding if the alcohol were reduced to manageable levels. Not bad by any means, but as it is, just good. If you like alcohol forward brews, this one just might be in your wheelhouse.

Pours a cloudy, dark golden. Appears thick and syrup-like (much like honey). The flavor has a syrup-like quality. The alcohol is very forward. Has a slight bitter finish. Kleptoctopus (16) - Georgia, USA - APR 29, 2015
Every so often, perhaps once in a generation, a beer like this comes around. I remember when Kennedy strolled into the White House in his motorcade like a prince returning to Camelot--that, THAT is this beer rolling into my mouth all sudsy, hopeful, and doomed.
