Malt, honey, pecan nose. Hazy amber, thin head. Honey, kibble, presence of solvent, Medium body, easy carbonation, warm. arn8897 (413) - Trenton, Ohio, USA - SEP 3, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2017 Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Aromas of corn syrup and malt. Not a very good beer. Very boozy. Nothing in drinking this makes me want another one. oobawa (1658) - Tennessee, USA - JUN 5, 2017
Not sure if ’horrific’ is an applicable term for a beer, but it sure seems apt for Missing Elf. Sweet. Sweet beyond sweet. Like sucking on a banana slathered in Karo syrup, only exponentially more disturbing. Every single iota of alcohol is present on the spiky texture. ’Undrinkable’ doesn’t cut it. Unfathomable? Unforgivable? Holy hell. SlimHabib (484) - Redondo Beach, California, USA - JAN 2, 2017
Bottle pour. Clear golden with a creamy white head. Aroma is sweet malts and apples. Medium body. Very sweet with a sweet sugary aftertaste.

Clear golden with medium body, little carbonation and very short lived head. Aroma is malty alcohol, taste is corn and malt. Hard to detect much sign of hops. Lithuanian Colt 45?

See through golden yellow color with orange tint. Aroma is grains and sweet malts (apples?). Lightly oily mouth feel. Taste of creamed corn and bread. Not enjoyable ganache (6032) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 16, 2015
16.9oz bottle, of course advertised with the alcohol as the main selling point. Nose of meaty spaghetti sauce, and not in the good way I sometimes got from hops in Franconia. Pours clear golden with hints of orange (of course that’s Doppelbock!) and a large, frothy bright white head. Taste is very sweet but not cloying to start, cirsp with dirty graininess and old hops. The sugariness isn’t actually too bad here, and there’s a ’Euro Pils’ character here that was missing from the last I had from these guys (a strong/imperial golden lager) despite the promise of a maltier dark beer (neither of those terms applies). Does dry toward the end, no bitterness to speak of, but a very mild astringency. Very faint apple and butter. Light body a little rough with the alcohol, but generally works well as a no-thought alcohol transference mechanism. I don’t have too many problems here, and am not outright offended. Sweet malty smell...very light though...taste is very sweet malt...too sweet...diabetes...way diabetes... Fredis23 (568) - Hickory Hills, Illinois, USA - DEC 14, 2014
Clear deep yellow gold color, small head that did not last long nor did it leave any traceable lacing. Sweet grain, light apple aroma. Sugary Sweet, corn, apple, light alcohol burn. Considering high ABV, this is rather smooth and easy to drink. After saying that, it is not something that I would normally drink. Funny label. OK for what it is. Pass it... blipp (9598) - La Mesa, California, USA - NOV 11, 2014
Wow. Brutal. Pours gold with a white head. Gross fusel alcohol and weird malty sweetness. Pretty bad.
