Clear, pale gold pour with a white head (not like a true doppelbock). The aroma is just corn and basements. It has a medium body with oily texture and lively carbonation. The taste is sweet with some harsh alcohol burn toward the finish. Drake (14059) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 1, 2014
16.9 ounce bottle from Beer Run, 12/14/13. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized foamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of heavy corn, pale malts and some dusty notes. The taste is heavy corn, pale malts, doughy notes, the mildest bit of hops. Thin bodied, boozy. Malt liquor, basically. nuplastikk (6414) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 27, 2013
Wow. Dreadful beer. Sugary and brutal. but does have some Bock undertones. Artificially sweet orange sugar, faint yeasty butter. Horrid stuff. bigrond (1499) - factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 8, 2013
This is one of the worst beers I’ve ever had. Tastes like pure alcohol, rubbing alcohol. It got one extra point for high alcohol content. aswithers (1) - USA - JUN 21, 2013 does not count
Picked this up from the bargain bin of the local beer store. The Doppelbock name attracted me to it immediately. Aroma was sweetness and alcohol, as was the taste. Not malty enough to be a doppelbock, more like a strong lager. I still found it enjoyable, and for the 99 cents I paid, it was well worth it.

Yeah, foreign strong lagers from Lithuania. Boom! Nose of alcohol, play dough, some apple, and malt. Pours golden amber, thin head. Flavors of play dough, alcohol, earth, corn, apple. Alcohol burn in finish. Would rate higher if it was listed as malt liquor but its listed as dopplebock. Clearly a malt liquor. edgallow (4376) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 25, 2012
16.9 oz bottle pours amber with a white head. Aroma of malts and toffee. Taste is sweet malts and grain.

Corn whiskey like aroma and flavor is dominated by.a strange muddled malt flavor which for less than three bucks for a big bottle and 9.5% alcohol is enough to warm the senses at least. Bit like rubbing alcohol. Lots of straw in flavor. Wondering what to do with the other cheapass bottle I bought. csaso (2328) - Missouri, USA - DEC 18, 2012
Bottle - small foamy head, medium orange color, very sweet malty aroma and flavor, some fruitiness, some alcohol kick

From the 25 fl. oz. bottle. It pours a slightly cloudy orange amber with a head that fizzles right away. There are malts upfront on the nose but there is also a harder alcohol note and black licorice. The body is medium. The taste also has a malty note followed by a weird bitterness that has bite to it. It is not something I would have often but I liked the name.
