"Sambariu Beer"
In the old times, „Sambariu“ beer was believed to bring better barley after the sowing of grain. During this ritual, all the people would bring their own barley and contribute to brewing „Sambariu“ beer. After the beer was brewed, village people gathered in a house decorated with flowers, they listened to the music, danced and drank beer.

Ungstrup (38381) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 18, 2007
Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet matly with strong notes of caramel and fruit, and lesser notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, and light notes of alcohol, leading to a dry bitter end, where the alcohol still is present.

omhper (25713) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 3, 2009
Bottled, from Snekutis, Vilnius. Deep golden, rich head. Juicy floral nose. Sweet and fruity with medium-full body. Soapy and rustic with notes of butter. Dense and soft, juicy and sweaty, alcolol is well hidden. Some late herbal bitterness.

Tap (Rinkuškiai brewery tap) (6+:4:7+:4:14=3.5++)
Nice christmassy spicy aroma. Dark treacle hints. Mixed peel too. Mellow, nicely attenuated and aged. No way this is 8%. A touch of toffee in the taste, and some aged yeastiness too. Suspect this should be a S/H/V rather than an ESL. Either way, it’s delicious!

HenrikSoegaard (14531) - Randers, DENMARK - OCT 30, 2016
Bottle. Frothy White fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy nice aroma. Moderate biter flavor. candis dominating. Average modefate bitter finish. Oily palate.

olio (10541) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 6, 2012
Bottle @ KBF.
Rated on 20101126.
Aroma of grass, fruits and spices. Flavor of mild fruits, spices and malts, some grain also.

MartinT (10036) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 11, 2012
My Bottom Line:
Spicy hops manage to protrude from this powerful brew’s almond-laced caramel malts, building a nuanced, if unmemorable, sipper.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam bobs atop the glowing amber.
-This is more effervescent than the average for the region, but it actually helps in this case.
-This is drier than expected, which increases drinkability.
-Marzipan notes roam about.

On tap at the brewery restaurant.

3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Bottle at Bambalyne in Vilnius.
Oxidized malt / notebook paper.
Plaster / drywall yeast.
Chewy, grainy dog food malt aroma and flavor.
Decent body, good froth, medium to full mouthfeel.
Medium sweetness, low bitterness.
Metal and tomato / sweet catsup notes present.
Soured cola and vegetables after it breathes.
Another flaw-ridden country beer, this one with surprisingly full carbonation in the mouth but little to no visible signs in the glass. Raw, grainy, under-fermented with some strange DMS-like faults (take your typical carrot / cabbage character and add some catsup, paprika and garlic... siracha sauce!)
