Nice christmassy spicy aroma. Dark treacle hints. Mixed peel too. Mellow, nicely attenuated and aged. No way this is 8%. A touch of toffee in the taste, and some aged yeastiness too. Suspect this should be a S/H/V rather than an ESL. Either way, it’s delicious!
Bottled, from Snekutis, Vilnius. Deep golden, rich head. Juicy floral nose. Sweet and fruity with medium-full body. Soapy and rustic with notes of butter. Dense and soft, juicy and sweaty, alcolol is well hidden. Some late herbal bitterness. TaktikMTL (7739) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 16, 2012

Bottle. Frothy White fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy nice aroma. Moderate biter flavor. candis dominating. Average modefate bitter finish. Oily palate. Ungstrup (37330) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 18, 2007
Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet matly with strong notes of caramel and fruit, and lesser notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, and light notes of alcohol, leading to a dry bitter end, where the alcohol still is present.

My Bottom Line:olio (10169) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 6, 2012
Spicy hops manage to protrude from this powerful brew’s almond-laced caramel malts, building a nuanced, if unmemorable, sipper.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam bobs atop the glowing amber.
-This is more effervescent than the average for the region, but it actually helps in this case.
-This is drier than expected, which increases drinkability.
-Marzipan notes roam about.
On tap at the brewery restaurant.

Aroma of grass, fruits and spices. Flavor of mild fruits, spices and malts, some grain also.

Clear copper color, tan head. Malty, butterscotch and alcohol scent. Sweet, lots of alcohol, a bit acidic taste. Medium mouthfeel and bitterness.

Amber reddish almost clear. Malty, heavy dry caramelly nose. Rich caramels, bit old leafy hops, caramels. A heavy drink.
In short: A big sweet copper lager with a spicy twist. Meh.
How: Tap directly at the brewery restaurant
The look: Clear copper topped by an off-white ring of foam
In long: Nose is malty and a tiny bit spicy. Taste is oily caramelized malts, oily roasted nuts, a surprisingly strong spiciness sensation, some candies and notes of sweet breakfast fruit jam. This felt a bit heavy for a beer that is only 8%, low drinkability. Not my thing. Certainly the most memorable beer I had during the Lithuanian road trip, a road trip that I find hard to describe, I don’t know if I should describe it as a trip where I was taking naps between drinking beer or a trip during which I was drinking beer between naps.
