Deep golden color with a smallish off-white head. Sweet aromas with caramel and sweet alcohol. Sweet start, with some malt and strong white whine flavors. Mild burn on the back of the tongue. Sweetness over take everything. Not even a drinkable malt liquor. 2/12

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2013 What a treat. Pours an early morning piss yellow, with hardly any head to it. Nose involves some paint thinner, a weird twangy creamy grain mess, some bubblegum, cherry cough syrup, and a pinch of mint. Real fucking sweet, with some prevalent tartness and just the lightest kiss of hop bitterness. Absolutely horrid mouthfeel, thick and syrupy, low carb, and a long nasty finish. As intrigued as I am by the concept of Eastern European strong lagers, the actuality of this one was a nightmare. Fredis23 (568) - Hickory Hills, Illinois, USA - SEP 20, 2013
Deep Clear Yellow, Good Medium Head, Plenty of Lacing. Aroma probably the most pleasant aspect of this beer. Sweet Malt, Yeast, Booze. Taste about the same: Sweet, Malt, booze burn that overpowers everything and is not pleasant. As it warms up, the burn tames down but still is felt and is not pleasant. Most likely brewed at request of they Russian distributors in US, which explains Russian Czar crown on its label. Probably same goes for its rubbing alcohol taste. Don’t want to generalize, but Russians are known for Vodka, not beer. It is a safe bet, that Standard for beer is not that high... Same Rinkuskiai has way better beer at same ABV level. Pass It... ccex (1350) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 22, 2012
This is one of those cheap Baltic high-alcohol beers that is so bad that it’s almost fun. $2.19 50 cl bottle pours a clear amber color with small white head and no lacing. Reeks of alcohol and airplane glue. The headache stareted even before the first sip. Taste is almost sickeningly sweet. Aroma has caramel, cardboard and grainy malts. Medium body, average carbonation, and tough to drink fast. It seems that Rinkuskaiai makes only 2 brews: 9.5% and 12%. My only complaint is that the label is boring, unlike their Missing Elf of Before and After Triple Bock. A good cheap buzz for those with healthy digestive tracts and livers. 50cl bottle pours clear deep gold with copper hues and virtually no head at all. The aroma pushes up apple juice notes, some sugary caramel, sugary sweetness and boozy chemical notes. The taste is fairly similar. It is smooth and sweet with sugary malts mixing with some caramel, sweet apple juice and then some chemical boozy notes midway and into the finish. At times I can actually taste moments of malts and grainy malts amid all the sugary sweetness. I’m really not finding anything that points to a big flaw in this beer. It is just overly sweet and boozy. All in all for what it is it isn’t not too hateful.

Clear gold with a white head. Foul, overpowering malt and booze aroma. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh sweetness then plastic and alcohol. I feel sorry for Lithuanian alcoholics, there must be more palatable ways to get a fix.
