Appeared flat on the pour - tasted fine so I assume that the beer wasn’t too badly damaged. Copper red no head. Sticky sweet toasty aroma. Sweet taste that finishes kind of sour with a bit of roasted malts. Alcohol on the finish. Fair brew.

500ml bottle into a Lowenbrau (Munchen) stemmed glass (twice) on 15th Jan 2018 while on holiday in California. Deep, dull amber body, off-white head. Fruity and malty nose, sweet malty taste, would never have put this down as a strong lager, more like a Barley Wine to be honest; I wonder if this is infected? Actually I liked it's strange aroma and taste, not convinced it was how it should be and I might have the chronic shits in the morning, hope not.

Aroma is sweet, grains, metallic, malty, fruity, strange. Appearance is amber, light light tan head, hazy. Taste is booze, metallic, grainy, corn, fruity, like malt liquor. Mouthfeel is medium body, light carbonation, bitter earthy hop and corn aftertaste. Overall, it’s not good.

The Werewolf pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malt, light fruit, corn and grains served up with a healthy dose of the musk that comes off of ferrets in a pet store. The flavor also has this skunky quality with a sweetness. Thin and a bit watery. This is not very good.

DenverLogan (1304) - North Bend, Washington, USA - JUL 26, 2016
From a bottle into a Rodenbach Grand Cru stem glass. Pours amber orange with head and slight lace. Aroma of grains, malt, sweet corn. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. flavors of sweet malts, corn syrup, minerals. Overall sweet, not bitter but rather simplex and lacking depth or a bite, but not horrible.

wombat23 (2149) - Texas, USA - JUL 19, 2016
16.9 oz. bottle. Copper with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and alcohol. Taste is oxidized malt, caramel, rust, and booze. Finish has some sweetness, but not much bitterness. Ugh. It’s not good, but much, much better than Rinkuškiai’s Lobster Lover. And, this bottle art has to rank up there with my all-time favorites; bonus points for that...

ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAR 3, 2016
Poured from a 16 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance was a reddish color with a large white head. the aroma was malt and the taste was wretched. Maybe this beer had become contaminated. NOT Good at all. This was a drain pour.

geologyguy (1687) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - DEC 24, 2015
Medium strength smell of dark fruit malt, taste is similar...sweet but not too much so...Slight alcohol burn...finishes with the sweetness...some hops bitterness for balance in there too...wish there was a bit more depth

I didn't take any extra notes when I tried this beer for the first time but I'm gonna try it again and update my comments. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear Amber color with a small fizzy head. Aroma is a bit musty with malt, boozy and bit of spice. Taste of malty sweetness and booze. Mild bitterness with a slick finish. Fairly light body, smooth with a definite boozy feel. Fairly typical Stong Pils.
