Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - AUG 24, 2009
Bottle. Poured dark orange with a sparse white head that stuck around. Aroma is of grain, sweet malt, light fruit and booze. Flavor is light booze, sweetness and grain. Not awful, but not something I’d reach for again.

Barrios (1243) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 31, 2009
At Aleksey Spirits tasting in Nashville. Some hops on the nose. Flavor is caramel apple and some hops. Little funky.

Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - JUN 25, 2009
Mostly clear orange with a thin white head on the pour. Very little aroma, watery and grain. Taste is berry, grain, and alcohol.

mansquito (7136) - Nueva York, New York, USA - APR 18, 2009
Got this beer pretty randomly at a Boston discount liquor store. Pour looks like a so-called American Dark Lager... clearly light but not golden like some say. Really malty. Somewhat sweet. Alcohol well-covered. Overall, it was a pretty good malt liq... I mean European Strong Lager... as if there is really a difference.

BeerHawk (1811) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - APR 14, 2009
Bottle. Poured golden with a creamy white head that settles quickly. Sweet malt aroma with a light backing of fruits and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with caramel and honey. Medium body.

HarmonKill-a-Brew (407) - Wilmar, Arkansas, USA - MAR 29, 2009
Look, this beer is pretty dang malty. And as the previous rater stated, the 9.5% is well hidden. Had a flavor that kinda reminded me of some of the brews put out by Spaten. Seemed better to me than what most of you rated it.

Rustyham (1836) - St. Petersburg, Florida, USA - MAR 8, 2009
surprisingly sweet, this guy is ver crips and refreshing, does not at all taste like beer or alcohol. Almost like a cider. That 9.5% is well hidden.

HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - DEC 16, 2008
dark pee color. no head. Aroma is very sweet aroma with apparent alcohol. Flavor is unbearably sweet, with a ton of alcohol in the finish. At first, I couldnt stomach it, but I started to warm to it a bit. Still way to sweet, kind of gross. And I couldnt finish it.

Butters (4062) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Pours a nice clear gold with some white head. Aroma is very sweet, fruity, grainy, a little musty, and a touch of spiciness. I was really digging on this aroma for some weird reason. Sweet grainy flavor, with some notes of bubblegum and vanilla, but not like a typical belgian. Medium smooth chewy body with low carbonation. Alcohol on the finish leaves ya feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Lots of tasty alcohol at a low price. Nice job.

Aggie80 (832) - Michigan, USA - OCT 19, 2008
Cloudy yellow pour with light white foam and lacing. Slightly malty aroma without major spice notes. Smooth mouth feel and the high alcohol content only hits you in the aftertaste. Relatively bland, but it does make you feel warm all over.
