Nice golden color ith tints of gren from the hops i’d believe. Tastes of quality barely, wheat, and decent hops. The 9.4% alc. is masked very well and takes effect smoothly. Goes down nicely. There’s nothing really wrong with this beer.

Bottle. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma of papery citrus. Taste is lightly fruity, crisp. Tolerable.

njnut (486) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - OCT 2, 2016
Poured from bottle a lite brown with white head and lace that had little retention. Aroma was malt, corn and little else. Taste was like a bowl of cornflakes and Everclear. Was hoping for a bit more but have yet to find good beer from the homeland. Pass.

I didn't take any extra notes when I tried this beer for the first time but I'm gonna try it again and update my comments. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

5/30/15. Large bottle from World of Beer, Savannah. Copper pour with a small khaki head. Firey booze aroma, screams strong foreign beer, straw, corn, apples, yuck. Sickly sweet, adjunct flavor, boozy, corn, straw, hay, grassy, apples, grape drink, more booze. No thanks.

ordybill (1758) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - DEC 25, 2014
Poured from a 16 OZ bottle into a pint glass. This beer was purchased in Smyrna, GA at Mink’s liquor store. This beer is a cloudy orangish yellow with a lot of sediment at the bottom of the glass. There is little head and the aroma of alcohol is very prevalent in this beer. It has a strong flavor, not bad but one that is probably acquired from multiple offerings. the beer finishes strong with an oily finish and is lightly carbonated. this is not a bad euro strong lager. I would drink this again.

Salmoniform (1272) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - JUL 21, 2014
Poured from bottle to glass. Golden hue with creamy white head. Aroma is cloves, straw, banana, fresh bread, cereal, mango. Mouthfeel is ok with a moderate body and soft carbonation. Taste is sweet throughout with an ethanol finish and slight CO2 to help round things out. Overall this is a very sweet and estery beer...think of an extra-imperial full-bodied hefeweizen. Not had but not a "go to" either.

Homer321 (5071) - Melboring, Florida, USA - MAY 24, 2014
Bottle thanks to frank. Pouts a fairly clear orange-ish yellow. Small white head dies quickly. Nose is honey sweet with some corny notes. Taste is initially sweet then the booze kicks in with some fusels and chest burn. Some nice crackery, toasty notes behind the sweetness. I really wish this beer wasn’t full of the harsh alcohol because otherwise it would be a very solid beer.

DrewFace (969) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - MAY 24, 2014
Bottle share thanks to Homer321. brilliantly clear golden color, no head. Lightly sweet, crisp corn adjunct aroma. Very sweet, malty, astringent, big alcohol character, slight burning.

Sammer (1119) - Plano, Texas, USA - JAN 31, 2014
Bottle. Taste is straw, fruit, yeast, funk and fizziness. Not the best beer in the world but not a total mess either. Hell, I’d drink this again.

Fredis23 (564) - Hickory Hills, Illinois, USA - SEP 4, 2013
Gold Yellow, Big Head, Decent Lacing. Not much of aroma. Sweet, Malt, Syrupy, slight Alcohol Burn. Medium Body, well hidden ABV. Smoother and easier to drink than expected. Drinkable, OK for what it is but no sentimental value for Zhiguly. Pass it.
