Unlike most American IPAs, this English-style IPA is a complex, full bodied amber ale with a rich malt backbone. It is brewed only with English hops (East Kent Golding, Challenger, and Sovereign), then dry-hopped with both East Kent Golding and Fuggles for their distinctive floral, citrus, and spicy aromas.

Poured from growler a light brown with a mostly white head. Aroma was a light citrus with a malty backbone. Taste was a light grapefruit and malt. This was interesting compared to the new typical US IPA east or west coast. This the malt came trough balanced nicely with the grapefruit. I enjoyed this out on the deck and itís perfect for that. Aroma was light it was hazy with a thicker but slick mouth feel. Nicely done.

Growler from brewery. Pours amber orange with a brief white head. Faint tea-like malty nose. Flavor is subdued. Syrupy caramel malt upfront with a subtle floral hoppiness. There is an ethereal earthiness in the middle that is reminiscent of old wood. Finish is hoppy, but subtle. Not your traditional IPA. Different.

Amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, citrus, light pine. Taste of caramel, earth, herbal hops, light grassy bitterness.

Draft. Pours murky, ugly yellow brown with a finger of white head. Aroma is fresh dirt, wet hay, some trace pine notes. Taste is not like any other IPA iíve had - and thatís not a good thing here. Muddled mix of hops with no distinguishable, redeeming qualities. A little too much malt against a undiscernable hop bill.

Growler shared thanks to Eduardo. Pours out caramel color with a small white head. Aroma is of lots of caramel malts, light toast, grassy hops maybe? Taste is the same all malts forward, earth, toast, mild grains, grass hops. This is a very lose definition of an IPA.

Poured a murky light tea brown with a quick fading head. A/F of wet bread, old hops, grass. Nice body with average carbonation and a refreshing feel. Decent

On tap at the brewery. Pours a murky brown color with small foamy tan head. Aroma of old grapefruit, roasted malt, and caramel. Taste mimics nose with notes of old citrus, light roasted malt, Carmel, and a hint of cocoa.
