On tap @ Rip Current. Clear golden pour with a white head. Aromas of apple, straw, grass, and bread. Some pear juice, floral hops, and a touch of biscuit. Not bad. Taste is kind of sweet and estery. Lots of apple and pear. Slight sugary juice. Bread, yeast, and some floral hops. Light grassy bitterness.
(En fût à la succursale North Park): Légère acidité, miel floral et zest d’agrumes sucré. Ressemble plus à une Helles qu’un Kolsch. BeerandBlues2 (13214) - Escondido, California, USA - JUL 24, 2015
Tap at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is corny Pils malt and light earthy hops. Flavor is crisp Pils malt, corn, light earthy hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation. skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2014
Pours a straw yellow with a thin white head with very little lacing. Aroma is of cereal malt, sweet bready mats, banana, and some light grass and hay. Taste is cereal malts, doughy sweet malts, some fruits, grass, and some hay. Has a medium-light body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a dry, slightly bitter, medium finish. Overall, a pretty nice beer that is very drinkable and decently tasty. Leighton (21092) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 13, 2013
Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a foamy white head. Crispy cereal on the nose with light dough and straw. Light to medium sweet flavor with more crisp cereal, white bread, mellow bitter hay. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish with some semi-dry cereal, more hay and bread. Nice kolsch.

Pours a golden yellow with a slight haze to it. Huge bright white head which dissipates over a few minutes. Strong lacing. Aroma of bananas. Definite banana flavor to it, along with yeasty bread. Slightly aqueous. I’m a HUGE fan of Kölsch beers, and this one didn’t impress me. I would have added in some honey to sweeten it up and make it a slightly more complex flavored beer.
