Bottle. Dark brown colour with a tan head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and dried fruits. Sweet malty taste. A light sourness in the finish.
Meget ristet i smagen, og tør humlet. Fin smag og en god øl til middagen med lidt tungere retter NosirIwont (2547) - Frederikssund, DENMARK - SEP 21, 2016
Bottle. 6.0%. Best before 30.05.17. Pours a clear, deep, dark amber/brown, with a light tan head. Great lacing. Sweet, floral hop aroma at first. Dark fruit notes, light malt/molasses, a spicy hint and a dusty overtone as it warms. Flavour is dark-ish fruits and malt, with a light hop note in the background. Bitter finish, with a hint of alcohol and lingering dry, dusty and a bit metallic notes, as well as a grassy (hop) note as it warms. Overall okay, but a bit cloying, in both aroma and flavour, though mostly the flavour. 21.09.16. Idiosynkrasie (7609) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUL 5, 2016

(3) Not worth buying. The taste is gone quick. Nothing too exciting. A bland beer - I was hoping for more action. Japalo (1887) - DENMARK - OCT 6, 2015

Two finger fine foam. Dark brown. Clear. Caramel roasted malty notes. Raisin dry flavours. Light bode. Fresh. Like it.
Mahognifarvet med offwhite skumkrone.
Let syrlig aroma og en smule sødme. Ristet malt.
Smagen er bittersød med chokolade noter. Overvægt på det søde. Halvtør mundfølelse. Bittersød, tør og kort afslutning. Lidt for sød. tfredvik (1985) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 30, 2015
Crystal clear, deep amber body with a beige, long-lived head. Malty, sweet and strong aroma that is dominated by dark caramel. There are also roasted notes, chocolate and dark dried fruits. Rather strong flavour that follows the aroma, but with additional notes of alcohol. A bit stinging and slightly metallic caramalt bitterness. Mid-bodied and moderately carbonated. Not particularly interesting,
