Nice dark brown, clear, with light frothy head that is almost white.
Roasted malt, charamel and a slight liqourice note.
Watery mouthfeel, low carbonation.
Overall OK, and better than a pilsner, but no rebuy.
Bottle. Clear deep redbrown colour with small beige head. Roasted malt aroma with some liquorice and discrete hops. Pleasant flavour of caramel malt with a bitter finish. Low carbonation.
