Pours honey golden white foam. Medium retention. Nose is fresh vague citrus and melon & malt. Taste is balanced with a fresh bitterness not to heavy though. Didn't except an American IPA but rather UK style. Cold be more hoppy. Idiosynkrasie (7600) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JAN 19, 2016
500ml bottle [Thanks Claudius!]. Barely clear, orangey golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and strawy hoppy aroma, a touch of lemongrass, some greenie-manufactured lemon biscuit. Taste has initially a bitter and medicinal "punch in the face" effect, with recollecting senses hints of elderflower syrup-infused lemon seem distinguishable. Strange. Clear hops and citrus in flavor. Slender foam. The taste is also marked by citrus and green grapes, while hops bitterness almost floral expression. It is intended not as hoppy as is expected for the type, but enough to support the type of accuracy. Wheat malts use is recognizable in the taste, and makes it easy to drink and not as heavy as some IPA’s may act. Nekke (4) - DENMARK - SEP 12, 2015 does not count
Weak taste and too little bitterness to qualify as a real ipa. Probably due to it being organic

Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a big, white head. Aroma is floral and pale malty. Metallic and with a hint of diacetyl and some hops. Taste is weak and sweet. Tiny bitterness. Light body and average carbonation. Drinkable, but an IPA? borre_m (1663) - NORWAY - JUL 15, 2015
Pours deep clear golden. Aroma is slightly hoppy, but not as much as i expected. Taste is balanced, not too bitter, but hoppy. smcolw (617) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 15, 2015
Amber color and clear. Modest head, but it lasts. Good ring lace after each sip with steaky bands in between.
Mellow aroma of pale ale malt and earthiness. Very little hop.
The earthy elements come through more strongly on the taste as does the hop. Neither overwhelm. I detect a bit of alcohol and dry caramel, which makes this closer to the British version than American one. Full bodied, but well-carbonated, too. Pleasant, but not a go-back-to version either. Stop calling it IPA, it could maybe have been an interesting lager. If want IPA stay away!

I was surprised to find this beer to be more than expected from a little brewery situated on tiny Island of the Iles of Denmark. I’m used to be presented to nice beers made by Danish Breweries, but this beer is a joy to me. I’m a pro Hobs enthusiast, so in that perspective, it is a mild sample of the family, but still interesting enough. Cheers.
