COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hallerndorf South German Style Hefeweizen - A Bavarian-style yeast ale with lots of fruit: bananas, apricots, peaches, full bodied and crisp. A four-seasons enjoyment irrespective of the weather.

12°. 20 EBC.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly yeasty (basement), with notes of lemon juice, gum, slightly rotting banana peel. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Smelled this one on draft as well, and it was just as weird if not more so....weird sourness and fairly dirty. Not even much of the obligatory banana, it’s more of a decaying peel smell.

Bottle at Rittmayer Hotel Willersdorf. Cloudy blond with a white head. Banana, both fresh and dried, aroma. Tastes lightly banana-ish, sweetish and creamy with just a hint of clove. Medium body, juicy, melon and light banana finish, good fizz. Well made.

Orangefarben im Glas, naturtrüb mit schöner Krone! Herrlich hefiger, fruchtiger Geruch! Leicht Bananig, Aprikosen und Pfirsiche schmeckt man prickelnd auf der Zunge! Vollmundiges und zugleich erfrischendes Hefeweizen!

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours very hazy gold with fluffy white foam, medium grain. Aroma is banana mostly, generally fruity. Body is medium, with a hint of astringency (lemony) and some tongue-tickling from the carbonation. Taste is sweet but not too much, with a lemony feeling as well. Finish is relatively short.

500ml bottle pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is banana and cloves with some grassy and grainy notes. Taste is a spicy and grassy hop bitterness with a light malty sweetness finishing with the banana and cloves. Light bodied with decent carbonation. Overall, a respectable hefe with a nice balance. Recommended.

One of the best beers I have ever had. Where you still desire another one, even when you had already 3 or 4. Great stuff. Just awesome. Take Care my Friends The beer lover
