Traditional or awful overloaded front of the bottle? Pale beer with a nice, but disappearing head. The aroma is wonderful flowery and hoppy. It starts malty, hoppy and full-bodied. Soft carbonation and very smooth palate. Nice, soft bitterness and grassy notes. The finish is moderate dry and a bit sticky. Delicious, thirst-quenching and easy to drink.

Ceramic mug. Herbal, slightly spicy hop and lots of minerals. Big minerals, lots of hop. Just delicious kellerbier goodness. Great balance, totally refreshing.

Gravity. First rating in Years!! This was only called Landbier, same ABV, but with a different label. Very good beer. Very hoppy and quite dry. Some crisp corn taste. Extremely enjoyable.

Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 17, 2009
In krug has nice deep golden color. Franken-frische aroma is earthy, woody, with some foot/sock. The palate has nice mineral granularity. The flavors are excellent, with stunning balance, farm fodder, wood, with nice floral hops and mushrooms too. Dry and very good.

Bottle 0,5 litr with swingtop: Pale golden looking brew from this Bavarian brewery, its taste like an Bavarian field, just great.

BeerandBlues2 (13303) - Escondido, California, USA - JUN 27, 2015
Tap at Oro Birra. Pours clear yellow with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is grainy and sweet Pils malt with floral hops. Flavor is medium floral hops and bitterness, sweet grainy Pils malt and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Tap at brewery. Pours hazy Yellow with a White head. Aroma of breadcrust, citrus, quitemalty, very fresh light herbal, very fresh. Clean crisp.

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2014 Impressions in the shade of the keller:
-An intricate web of citrusy and herbal hoppiness shines through the head ring.
-Hay blades and shining herbal hop flavor and bitterness impeccably unite.
-The creamy, cuddly body is both rich and drinkable, I’m falling in love.
-Earthy hop bitterness surges from the herbaceous character, a veritable garden fable.

On tap at the Rittmayer Keller on the Kreuzberg.

November 2012: Draft at Brauerei Rittmayer in Hallendorf as lagerbier.
Filtered gold body under a billowy and soft white head. Bright and hoppy nose, peppery and clean, sweet and thin honey and biscuit-flavored pilsner malt with moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation, good froth. Mild to medium German hop expression seems unmatched for the body and sweetness, and impart a minty greenness and leafiness on top of the already-sweet pale malt. (3.4/5)

May 2013: draft at Rittmayer keller Kreuzberg.
Fine shape. Clean, malty, lightly doughy, very cracker-y. Mild lemon hop aroma. Oily / soapy texture. Crisp finish. (3.5/5)

May 2013: draft at Brauerei Rittmayer Hallerndorf.
Even better. Clean, crisp, more expressive aroma (though probably just the state of my nose at the two times). Smooth and crisp, well-lagered. Still quiet. No soapy finish. (3.8/5)

June 2013: bottle as Plop Landbier.
Kinda flabby, apple-y and butter-y. Limp malt mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Slightly stale. Not a good representation. (3.0/5)
