COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
12°. 35 EBC.

(draught 0,5l @ Netopýr (Brno)) Strong smokey, peat, earthy, wood aroma. Clear dark amber color. Medium white head. Medium sweet, smokey, peat, earthy flavour. Medium body. Long dry finish. Interesting, very aromatic and flavoured beer, but not for me.

Thanks to jonas for that one. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Extrem smokey aroma. Starts the same, extreme smokey, also soapy-sharp. Finish milder, warming-malty. A bit too much.

Bottle. In your face woodsmoke and peatyness. Clear amber, low golden head. Very agressive smoke, like sucking on a ember - metallic, ashen, peaty, iodine, burned grass. I dig the extreme smoked notes, but I think the body needs a bit more substance and a we need a bit sweetness to balance the burned notes out. Nevertheless - a salute to the brewers for leaning out of the window and trying something extreme.

on tap at the old favourite hutt’n. nutty shade of light brown with a thin but lasting head; they didn’t hold back on the whisky malt - loads of honey cured ham, old train carriages, thick socks; perhaps it was the ambience of hutt’n but some caraway came through in the aftertaste as well as heavity peated whisky, of course, sea breeze and some musty air conditioning. hopefully will inspire more franconian breweries to go a bit wild and crazy from time to time

Bottle. Clear whiskey amber with a short lived head. Smoked peat whiskey aroma and flavour, unusual.

Well this is certainly smoky in the Scottish sense. Tons of peat in the aroma and flavor (Islay Scotch), which unfortunately always reminds me of formaldehyde. I can’t get past this. If you dig on peaty scotch you may enjoy this. As for me, I’ll pass.

Pours a amber color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty smoky aroma + Whiskey. Roasted malty smoky caramel and chocolate flavor.

Dark orange body with a small white head. Whiskey aroma, so the taste. A bit watery. It gets worse and worse while you drink it. A bit disappointing

Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2012, Bratislava. Pours amber with a small creamy head. Peated smoke, caramel and grain. Heavy . . Not a fan.. Too much peat.

21/07 GT at Richtar Jakub, 0.5 l bottle. It poured clear orange body with tiny white head. Whisky aroma, peat and ash, not alcoholic though. Nice peat flavor, slightly acidic, only some touch of caramel and cheese noted. Medium in body with long finish. Very simple, almost exclusively peat, which I did not adore, but still managed to be pretty nice.
