COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From the sharp aromatics of citrusy pine that permeates your nostrils to the hefty malt backbone, Hop-O-Matic will slice and dice its way through your palate! But wait, theres more! This refreshing India Pale Ale highlights the avid appreciation we have of the finer, bold nuances of our little green friends by imparting a delightfully playful nose and even livelier mouthfeel.

A herbaceously spicy, pungent, and dank brew. This fragrant beer imparts an initial blast of bitterness that gives way to sweet, toasty malts and a zesty citrus profile, then takes it up ten notches with a complex mlange of hops that wont go down without a fight. What can we say? Were proud of this one.

Dark orange, almost amber, pour with a white head. Sweet nose of orange, bread, caramel, and peach. Some light pine, floral hops, and maybe grass. The flavor is a touch on the sweet side. Caramel, bread, and toasted malt. Sweet fruit notes such as peach and orange. Mild pine and floral hop flavors with a light bitterness.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours golden amber with a slight beige head. Aroma suggests mosaic. Lots of mixed fruits. Melon? Citrus? Med body. Wow are there lots of odd fruits. Most melon I can recall. Citrus. Pineapple. Maybe guava. Im sure there is more. There also a nice roasty malt backing to support all this stuff. Very light hop burn. Finishes with lots of green melon. Amazing stuff.

$8.50 22oz bomber pours with a slightly hazy copper body that supports a weak off white head. The mild aroma offers up tangerine, lime and some herbal like hop notes. The taste starts with a malty sweet citrus hoppiness that tries to be juicy but stays malty with modest levels of tangerine, grapefruit and clementine. To midway the citrus hops build in bitterness and attain a wafer thin resiny hop bite. It gets maltier into the finish as the bitterness grows to pleasing levels. The more of this 22 I drink the more I like it.

Growler. Pours with a clear orange hued body with a small white head. Aromas are of pine, fresh baked bread, tangerine, tropical fruit, low yeast and slight tannic extracted grain astringency. Flavors are bready, nutty, toasted malt and some alcohol. Low bitterness, tropical fruit hop character, dry with medium carbonation.

Bottle and served in snifter: Clean and golden hue with a mostly lasting head. The nose is wonderfully dank and citric with some herbal and resiny notes too... faint biscuity malts. The taste is SD styled IPA updated with aggressive 2013 hops. Brash and kicking pungent character over a layer of biscuity pale malts and biting alcohol. I like this enough but must declare I am not a big fan of overly dank IPAs. The clean malt profile and juicy notes save this brew for me.
