Alengrin (5639) - BELGIUM - AUG 9, 2014
Extinct lager, tasted as Liefmans Pils in 2003. Stable, snow white head, light blonde colour. Typical sweetness of pale malts but otherwise neutral, hops apparently only applied for a bit of structure but not rendering any significant bitterness. Extremely boring.

Tap @ Samson, Nijmegen. Named "Riva Q". Pours an completely clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweetly malty with a dose of citric bitterness. Mild, lightly sweet flavour with a spicy bitter finish. Actually a quite good pilsner. oberabcbbsok (692) - Hoboken, BELGIUM - MAY 23, 2007
A rare to find but very nice pilsener. Can drink it in Hoboken in Antwerp at the Extra Time. Nice looking and smelling and a good taste makes rhis beer one of the better ones chriso (7586) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 4, 2004
I tried this on draught in a Belgian bar (can't remember the name), partly to get a break after consuming two very strong beers too early in the day and partly to see whether Belgian pils from smaller breweries are just as boring as those from the megabreweries. They are. Clean and dryish, but lacking in any distinctive character. September 2003.
