Straw color with Lacy head and a little visible fizz. Fresh tasting with a slightly sour aftertaste. (K) slowrunner77 (12044) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 24, 2014
"Better than expected, this refreshing wit had a very perfumey aroma, coriander and citrus and a lil sumpin extra, like lavender or some other floral. Quite nice and tasted good too." ibrubeer (383) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUL 23, 2014
Draft @ River City Brewing Sacramento. Very nice white beer aroma. Very cloudy, but appropriate for style. Flavor is close, but a little light? Body is a little light for style. Overall, not a bad White beer. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 19, 2013
On tap @ River City. Pale golden pour with a white head. Notes of pepper, apple, pear, and a touch of banana. Some lemon zest, bread, and yeast. Kind of dry on the tongue, but enjoyable overall. White pepper, apple, and pear. Mild banana, some bread, cracker, yeast, and a dry finish. Not much of a witbier, but enjoyable anyway. Westkyoto77 (635) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 11, 2013
Draught at the brewpub. Standard witbier nose of orange and coriander, with a bit of wet straw. Pretty dry and smooth, nicely carbonated but very weak finishing.
Tasted ok, but I felt it was a little hollow. It could do with a little more something - either spice or citrus maybe. It was refreshing but not quite in good Belgian territory. Just a shade better than Blue Moon?

The waitress said to me when naming each one, "this is a witbier, and it’s just like a Blue Moon". Little did she know that that was not the greatest comparison in the world she could have made (could have said it was like Hoegaarden). Thankfully, it was much better than a Blue Moon. A rich, perfumey aroma of coriander and orange rind (no orange slice around thank you!) and cracked wheat. Flavor was equally impressive and the orange, black pepper and coriander really game thru impressively. My wife mentioned that the beer looked a bit like dirty dishwater and she was right. Cloudy, kinda a muddy white/yellow color with a merengue white head. Really nice.
On tap at West Coast Brewfest 2011. Pours cloudy yellow with a thin white head and a fruity aroma. There is a thin wheat flavor no sourness and a mild citrus finish. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - SEP 12, 2009
Hazy yellow pour, no head. Aroma is you average belgian white aroma, but a little less. Soft boring sweetness initially followed by wheat malt and corriander. Seemed very generic to me. Well done, just boring. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - JUL 19, 2009
