Poured at brewery buy a friendly young lady a cooper with thick white head. Aroma was malty and pine with a faint citrus background. Med body. Taste was a real nice balance between hops with the pine note heavy first sip and the citrus gaining on the backend. Aftertaste lingered a light citrus. Nice.

Shaker pint draft at one of the outdoor bars in the Harbour Town area of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The pour is copper with a well formed ½ inch off white head. Head is quite lasting, with nice lace. The aroma is citrus, tropical fruits, some pine and fresh cracker malt presence. The taste is a nice balance between the citrus and pine hop notes and the mild sweetness of the malt. Nice resin character in the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied, active carbonation and a clean mineral resin dry finish. Well made, quite tasty.

A good IPA for just about any time of year. Strong citrus and fruity after taste. No complaints about this one.

In draft pours medium brown amber, hazy, small cream hued head that reduced to a cap, leaves a thick lacing coat. Some pine and hop resin in the nose. Taste is balanced, some toast. Resin comes during the finish. Dryness lingers long after the sip. Medium body, feels thin at times. Malaclemys (464) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JUN 6, 2014
