Poured draught at Rattle N Hum in NYC. Pours slightly cloudy amber in color with medium head. The smoke is very light in the aroma. The taste is lightly smokey too, really lovely, with a light bitterness in the finish. This is a really nice beer.

Dark ruby color, small steady creamy beige head. Some smoke and vegetables in the nose. Medium-bodied. Smoked, dark malts, some caramel. Easy to drink, not very "Scotch".

Clear chestnut brown with a thin beige head.
Nose is toffee, sugars, woody notes.
Taste comprises light smoke, spice, dark toffee, dark malts.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, dry finish with a little bitterness and smoke.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with a huge off white head. Nose is smokey peat and caramel. Taste is peat, caramel and slight toast notes. Palate is smooth but has a good bite from the carb. Nice example of the style.

Pours orange-red with a small but thick head. Smells of smoked peat, dark breads. Taste is sweet, mildly smoky, mildly bitter - peat smoke, bready malts.
