Awesome brew! Pours black with very little head and great lace. Aroma is full of milk chocolate. Taste is full of milk chocolate with a creamy finish. samsmith33 (772) - - MAR 1, 2015
On tap at blend.
Chocolaty goodness in the aroma.
Dark brown, black, color. Creamy, white head. Taste is chocolate, light light barley.
Tasty beer. Borders on too sweet, but i think its ok.

Almost black with brown edges and a one finger tan head with nice lacing. Aroma is of chocolate, coffee, molasses, roasted malts, sweet malts, and light pine. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, mostly sweet, medium finish. Overall, a pretty tasty Chocolate porter. j12601 (13610) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 30, 2012
On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a deep cola brown with a thin tan head. Big cocoa, chocolate, heavy beautiful chocolate on the nose. This smells great. Medium bodied, cocoa and roast. Light sweetness, smooth roast and malt. Long cocoa finish. Surprisingly good. BlindGuardianco (104) - - APR 25, 2015

Pours deep, opaque dark brown, almost black with just a faint hint of garnet, with medium mocha head that leaves some skim.
Great nose of milk chocolate, molasses, bread, coffee, light pine. Palate again leads with milk chocolate but adds darker cacao tone, plus a hint of orange.
A bit of creaminess complements medium body. Clean, semi-dry finish with a bit of fizz balances the sweetness.
Another good porter from River Horse.
