At a tasting, thanks Tom L, smallish head, very hazy, very deep yellow color, aroma of candy and acetone with some fruit and spice, flavor of orange marmalade and apricot jam with that acetone, very light bitterness, no sourness. Something very wrong with this. zvsn (2302) - ISRAEL - JAN 17, 2015
Bottle sample at a tasting, thanks Tom L. Hazy orange no head. Smell - acetone, spices, overripe fruits, yeast. Sweet and oxidized flavors with cough syrup, yeast and spices. Medium-bodied, flat and oily. Pretty bad.

Bottle sample at a tasting at zvsn’s place. Thanks Tom L. Slightly hazy golden with no head. Very fruity aroma, yeasty with some spiciness. Yeasty flavor, quite acidic, a bit buttery with some fruitiness. Moderate carbonation, medium-bodied. Not fresh and badly infected. zvikar (6444) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - DEC 30, 2014

Bottle shared at Beer Market Jaffa. Hazy deep golden with almost no head. Somewhat oxidized aroma with alcohol, caramel, some cardboard, a bit of fruitiness and a bit of spiciness. Sweetish flavor, stale and oxidized, with cardboard, some honey, a bit of caramel, light fruitiness and alcohol, Light to medium-bodied. Sweet, stale and overly alcoholic. Pretty unpleasant. 4/2/3/2/6=1.7

Re-rate a few days later from a bottle that’s not as oxidized: Bottle sample at Ariel’s place. Thanks zvikar. Murky orange with almost no head. Aroma of coriander, oranges and some fruity esters.Sweetish flavor, spicy and kinda alcoholic. Medium-bodied. Still not fun. 4/2/4/3/7=2
Another bottle from my sister, either my brother in law stopped drinking or she’s trying to keep my beer belly on me. Drat, well, here’s my take on this.
Two bottles, one was poured into a pint glass and the other was a mug. The head lasted longer in the mug and seemed to be more speckled.
The rest of the appearance was a gentle dark orange to slight brown color. There was a decent one finger white foamy head that once it dissipated, there was a messy lacing all over.
The smell had a grassy sweet citrus aroma all around and combined.
The taste tried to be mellow but came across in a sweet grassy sort of super light peppery sort of way.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a tad of sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed to indicate a fair sharpness about it but it was nothing out of the ordinary positively or negatively.
Overall, for the most part, this was a good witbier that I’d have again, nice to try, but not necessarily one to really seek out. EricTeusink (702) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 28, 2014
First New Jersey rate. I feel I should be tanner. Interesting take on the style. Scent is dominated by booze, grass, and citrus. Pours hazy light orange with small white head. Carbonation bites on first sip, beer then sweetly mellows and finishes with bit of aftertaste. Glad I tried it. Bottle - Received in Trade eelbasher (285) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 3, 2014
Bottle. Pours medium hazy golden with a small white head. Aromas of orange, citrus zest, candy, and some wheat. The flavor is much of the same with orange leading by a long shot. Nice and drinkable and alcohol hidden well. jsmerig (1666) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 28, 2013
