Red-tinged pumpkin orange body with a gentle, silken cover. Heavy pumpkin-spiced bouquet--ginger,perhaps some mace. Boozy body. Alcohol breath exhales through the pumpkin spices of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg. Definitely lives up to the "imperial" name, but a bit too heavy-handed for my liking.

Bottle. Hazy dark copper with a perfect 1 finger off white head. Aroma is pumpkin pie spice. Taste is pumpkin pie and a nutty finish, almost like cashews. Full creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Pretty nice.

Poured a dark orange with no head. Aroma was strong if both pumpkin and allspice. A little bitter upfront but settled into a spicy sweet pumpkin pie flavor. A solid imperial pumpkin and definitely worth a look. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce thanks to Ed5388. Amber beer with caramel and pumpkin spice. For the high abv, hides it well. Slight hop kick.

Sampler on tap at Unos Hamilton, nj. beautiful spiced ale with a light aroma of fall. Spice notes finish. Not over hopped or over spiced, Totally sessionable.

Pours a rich, dark honey color. Nose of some spice and cinnamon, and some funkiness. Taste some sweetness, spice and a little booze - an amped up pumpkin ale. Enjoyable, but maybe too sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fresh bottle. Room filled with mouldering earth and heavy pumpkin pie spices, and there’s some meaty character there, but I wouldn’t identify it as pumpkin. Pour a murky, opaque dark brown with a tan head. Taste mildly sweet with a cute caress in the feel, strong but brief blast of carbonation with heavy spice rush that lasts through into the long after, but underneath lurks a vibrant amber-brown ale hybrid, medium body with simple malt. Bright and refreshing and hides alcohol as well as Steel Reserve (that’s a compliment!), making this a great campfire/date choice for the early fall months in the Delaware Valley.

Very nice, one of the better pumpkin beers I have had, even with the high HBV, no one ingredient too overpowering like other pumpkin beers

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Paramus. Pours a hazy orange-brown color with dark fine floating particles. Thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Heavy pumpkin spice aroma with faint pumpkin and caramel malts. The taste is heavy spice, phenols, pumpkin. Medium bodied. 200th S/H/V rating.
