12oz bottle poured into glass. Dark murky brown with very little head. Good pumpkin spice aroma mixed with vanilla and cinnamon. Slightly boozy flavor but the pumpkin flavor definitely comes through the most. One of the better pumpkin beers I’ve had this year. j12601 (12000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - SEP 29, 2012
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear copper amber with a thin white head. Lots of spice, soft pumpkin flesh, malt. Medium bodied, spicy malt, toast. Burnt malt, spicy, not much going on. Toast, lightly burnt spices. Meh. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Bottle. Brown pour with some light head. Light spice, cinnamon and some pumpkin aroma. Muted flavor compared to aroma, spice and pumpkin. Finihes with some warmth. KornDogg (570) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 16, 2012
Bottle. Aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg and cinnamon. Dark brownish amber body with thin, lasting head. Flavor begins with clove followed by cinnamon, nutmeg; subtle creamy pumpkin finish. A tasty pumpkin ale. dogfishho (669) - Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA - SEP 16, 2012
A little bit too boozy. Otherwise this has a nice balance of pumpkin meat and spice flavors. Just too much burn for the amount of pumpkin flavor.

12 oz bottle. Foggy brown with a bone head. Typical spicing with cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice with a caramel and pumpkin base. Creamy body with a buzz and a spicy tang. Taste is earthy pumpkin pie and briefly sweet caramel apple succumbing to lingering bitter spice. gripweed57 (2463) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - SEP 14, 2012
12 ounce bottle. Cloudy amber, orange liquid topped by a thick, creamy beige head. The nose is redolant of spices including nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. Smooth creamy roasted malt flavor with with hints of nuts, spice, caramel and herbal hops. The 8.1% alcohol is barely noticeable. more hops appear in finish offering a nice balance. Tasty! crazyvin (2026) - New York, USA - SEP 11, 2012
A nice amber body with an off-white head that had good retention and lace. Nice caramel malts upfront, followed by a nice savory quality from the pumpkin, rounded out by nice autumn spices. Flavor had a nice malt base which was complemented by pumpkins which came through perfectly. Finish had a nice presence of nutmeg along with notes of cloves and maybe some all-spice. Finish was smooth and the beer was easy to drink. Alcohol was well hidden. mike67 (1198) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 8, 2012
12 oz bottle from Trader’s Joe. Pours hazy brown with a short lived off-white head and lively carbonation. Nose reminds me of Belgian sour red, also some spices, caramel malt, hints of cacao. Body is full and tangy. Taste is some pumpkin, spices, herbal hops, brown sugar, and caramel. Finish is long and very spicy. Nice brew. 60minuteman (1718) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 7, 2012
Reddish amber with white head. Definitely a sipper. A great aroma of hop, spice, cumin, pepper, pumpkin (after it sits a while). Body and carbonation are medium. Some alcohol in the taste, as well as spice and pumpkin.
