Pours a cloudy deep amber with a white head consisting of fine bubbles. Aroma is Piney hops, caramel malts. Taste is bitter like a pill, muddled with unsavory malts and random garbage. This beer is almost worthless. Almost. Scroll past weak shit like this. Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 7, 2012
Pours amber with a white head. Smells of citrus, some earthy hints, some perfumy floral undertones. Tastes bitter with an underlying sticky sweetness to it. Finishes peppery with some floral notes. Decent. RGDave (115) - Lebanon, New Jersey, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Bottle. Beer pours brownish gold with medium head retention. Aroma is rather flat for a double IPA. Taste is hoppy, but more bitter than spicy; a heavy malt taste is a bit too much for my palate. Mouthfeel is generally smooth. Bitter finish. This one could be quite a bit better. Huhzubendah (3740) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 2, 2012

The beer appears a slightly hazy shade of orange with a moderate head and fair lacing. The aroma is a balance of malt and hops, which I always find disappointing in a DIPA. For what it is, the beer tastes OK. If it was hoppier, I’d be happier, nawmsayin? The feel is pretty good, with the alcohol content disguised fairly well. The beer finishes bitter with a trace of alcohol. Overall, an OK beer, but nowhere near the elites of the style.

12 oz bottle pours amber color with a large foamy head. Hopalotamus is definitely hoppy with a bitter finish. Full body that is well-balanced. Not bad.

Pours a hazy orange brown color. Medium to large white head, good lacing. Aromas of hay, caramel malt, pine, and some fruit. Taste is about the same as the smell. Nothing great here but drinkable. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - JUN 3, 2012
12oz bottle from Oak Tree Discount Wine and Liquors in South Plainfield, NJ. Pours a hazed, amber-orange colored body with a finger-width, creamy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is big tangerine florals with some light earthy notes and other citruses. Sweeter caramel backing with a light crystal malt. Flavor is similar. Lots of caramel and crystal malts up front with a bigger tangerine floral hopping. A bit of an earthiness towards the end with some grapefruit citruses as this finishes sweet, but moderately bitter and dry with a few resins before leaving a lengthy aftertaste. Medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, an unspectacular, but solid DIPA. Firm caramel and crystal malt backing with plenty of tangerine florals and a nice bitterness. Not bad. msojka (457) - New Jersey, USA - APR 3, 2012
Pour is a light mahogany color, pretty opaque with a small off whtie head. Nose is of hops, mainly a citric smell with distinct orange notes. Taste is very much the same, a little more balanced than the nose may lead one to believe though still clearly and iipa. Kriegbaum (845) - Randers, DENMARK - APR 2, 2012
Bottle 12 oz @ Channel Inn, Washington DC. Orange-red beer with a medium off white head. Light sweet aroma of malt, citrus and exotic fruit. The taste is malt, grassy hops and citrus. Medium bitter in taste and aftertaste KlextonGaze (60) - Franklinville, New Jersey, USA - MAR 19, 2012
Murky amber pour from fresh cold 12oz. retaining nicely in pint glass. Delicate floral bouquet complementing pink grapefruity zing. Perfect sweet/sour balance on medium body, with biscuity malt presence smoothing edge. Finishes with loads more grapefruit punch that lasts on the tongue. First from this crafter, anxious to sample other offerings.
