Recd from ed5388 as part of local swaps 5.2. Limited experience with this style but I have several I will try in next few weeks. Pleasantly surprised. Aroma is subdued but has roast and chocolate dark pour taste is a combo of milk stout and oat stout. Had milk chocolate and roast plus the smooth oats. Slight odd taste at end of sip lactic? Thx Ed. Good start to my tests of this style TheHopster (1111) - Netcong, New Jersey, USA - JAN 25, 2014
(bottle) Pours a black complexion with minimal tan head. The aroma is well roasted malts with some coffee beans. The flavor is a nice hybrid between the oatmeal and milk stout styles as both are apparent. Smooth palate. Well done by brewer.

Pours almost black, short lived mocha head. Aroma of sweet malt, touch of charred oak. The taste is both sweet and roasty, not much going on, a little milk chocolate and coffee hints. The palate is a little thin with medium carb but, smooth and drinkable. Pretty nice milk stout but missing something. 60minuteman (1765) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Oat, oak, nut, malt. Dark brown color. Taste is roasted hop, nut, coffee, kinda bland. Shortened duration but still a solid sweet stout. jdb288 (584) - Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA - DEC 21, 2013

Draft. Deep brown body with a short, tan head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma of milk chocolate, vanilla, lactose, cocoa powder, cream. Hint of coffee. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, slick texture, moderate carbonation. Chocolate, light coffee and roasted malt tastes.

Draft at Stags head. Pours black with brown head. Nose of coffee mostly. Tastes of lots of coffee, chocolate, root beer, earth, slight brininess. Very creamy and roasted finish. Tmoney36 (15) - - AUG 4, 2013
Great stout with very balanced flavor. Lots of coffee, chocolate and espresso flavor. Pours black with quickly dissipating head. Great summer stout, not too heavy, smooth. For non imperial stout, this may be the best I’ve had. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Bottle from a neighbor, good easy basic well made milk stout, creamy without the roastyness
