Appearance is top notch. Nice dark pour with a tan head. Smell is pretty good, can sense the roasted malt and lactose. Mouthfeel is a little too carbonated, but creamy. The drink was a little harsher than I thought it’d be, expected more smoothness. Still good though.
Bottle JB shared. Pours black as night with a thin tan head . Aroma of roast malt and sweet lactose. Thick and creamy on the palate. Flavor of roasty oats, some burnt malt and lots of sweet sugar. jb (3301) - Rochester, New York, USA - AUG 28, 2017
Sticky sweet is the first impression. I did not get much nose. Big licorice taste, lots of flavor, complex palate, enjoyable. Bottle from Andy. Bacchus66 (772) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 27, 2017

12oz bottle pours a translucent brown/black with some cloudy, tan head. Nose is nutty, bready, brown sugar, malts. Flavor has more of the oats, malt, brown sugar, marzipan, a little cola, some chocolate. Finishes dry. raymow (1700) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 20, 2017

Pours black with a soapy film of tan head. Some sweet but somewhat young malt notes in the nose. Builds from a slightly sweet to a bitter aftertaste with some burnt toast throughout. Doesn’t belie the alcohol, not bad for the style. Mindwarp (280) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 1, 2017
Thanks to my friend Francis. Pours the same color as every stout I’ve ever poured, with a small tan head. Strong aroma of roasted malts and chocolate. Taste is really good, creamy chocolate. Overall a really good stout. WillRunForBeer (2702) - Massachusetts, USA - MAY 3, 2016
12oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is molasses, chocolate, mild coffee. Flavor is molasses, chocolate, but mostly dominated by overextracted coffee. Thin for a milk stout. phillybass (117) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 13, 2016
A smooth and rich and creamy stout. Definitely will drink again. Not too heavy.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2017 Black pour with a short lived fizzy brown head. Aroma is earthy, sweet, and roasty with notes of chocolate with mild coffee. Definitely thinner than i prefer. Flavor is solid with semi aweet chocolate, some coffee notes, hints of molasses, earthy finish.
