Thin, white bubbly head. Gold, cloudy beer, above avg carbonation. Meets the type of blonde with mild taste, some sweetness. Okay beer... nothing offensive, but nothing that stands out either

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of malt, hops, grain, and grass. Poured yellow gold in color with a small, creamy, white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Full of tiny, and a few large, particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, grains, light corn, and some pollen. Light to medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt, hops, grain, and corn finish is lightly sweet and lightly bitter.

I was surprised this beer has an aggregate score of 20. Lower than a Yuengling lager?!! And that’s nothing against a Lager. I had this beer at the canal bar at Lambertville Station, 1 mile from the brewery. I thought this was a nice summer beer. It seemed to me to be a cross between a wheat beer, saison and summer ale. The citrus was present but understand. The cloudiness added to the texture and added a dimension to the simple palate. Nice, refreshing beer from a good regional brewery that should be scored in the 50s in my opinion.

Bottle. Faint corn and grain, dusty tangy nose. Also some nice lemon wit notes. Hazy, surprisingly dark golden with a sudsy off-white head - a little sickly looking, truth be told. Taste as before, with some light pretzel, vanilla, alcohol. Creamy, slightly slick medium-full body with consistent crispy carb - just about the perfect mouthfeel for my mood.

The aroma is light and sweet with notes of honey. The lemon color is clear with a small white head. The flavor is light like a pilsener with some sweet lemon notes. It would fare well on a hot summer day.

Summer blonde tastes like the lager only a little lighter. Definatly a refreshing beer with a crisp finish

Bottle. Golden color. Light aroma. Faint hop flavor. This is a light-weight fairly charcterless brew. Fine to drink after a lawn-mowing excursion, or to quench a summer thirst, but overall not a very interesting beer.

Very light and flavorful summer ale. Good for drinking while barbecuing. Rated 5/6/04

Sweet, light, with a hint of wheat and a bit of honey. Very nice, refreshing summer beer. I will definitely have this again from this very good Jersey brewery.

reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 18, 2009
pours a hazy golden color with a foamy medium white head. aroma has some delicate hops, bready, light citrus, bubblegum...belgian yeasty...something cheap about it. taste is bland and wheaty with nearly no hop flavor and the yeast lends very little. mouthfeel is very watery and the aftertaste is like hay. extremely boring and bland beer. no thanks!
