Good beer. It is a great summer ale. Nice light body and flavor. Great brewery. Very friendly people. BillsmafiaCO (17) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 12, 2014
A nice light beer, aroma was very nice and in my opinion was better than the actual taste. Will buy again due to drinkability Spindelphia (21) - Lambertville, New Jersey, USA - MAY 5, 2016
UPDATED: JUN 23, 2016 A pretty standard blonde ale. One of riverhorse’s better beers. Easy drinking, perfect for the summer sitting on the porch watching the sun set. TreborWhip (393) - Reading, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 22, 2009
Bottle poured into a frosted pint glass produced a thin white head that dissipated quickly and an translucent yellow-gold body that reminded me of most wheat beers. Very sweet, reminded me if white grapes, no bitterness. I enjoyed this with a pizza at Espositos in Stony Creek Mills, PA. jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 5, 2010
Very light and flavorful summer ale. Good for drinking while barbecuing. Rated 5/6/04

On tap at Nj beer fest. Light yellow in color with a white head. Hoppy. Citrusy hops. Good beer. Medium in body. MilkmanDan (1943) - Eagan, Minnesota, USA - JUN 17, 2005
Decent stuff. Bright and sunny yellow, crisp lemony nose. Nice fruitiness, bit bready, decently hoppy. Not incredibly complex stuff, but it’s not trying to be. Johnroy (39) - Ringwood, New Jersey, USA - JUL 15, 2008
Pours straw color with a straw taste.Quickly fading head, and after my first taste, this beer will quickly fade down my throat! This is what a summer beer should be! Good flavor, light tasting and you feel like having a few on a hot summer night! Pumpkin87 (248) - - JUL 16, 2016
Pours from bottle a slightly clouded yellow-gold that clears steadily, with one-finger white head that leaves some lacing and skim.
Light, uncomplicated aroma of biscuit and grass, tempted to say ’smells like beer.’ Palate adds gentle lemongrass, bread, hint of corn, mineral.
Manages to provide a creamy mouthfeel despite fairly light body. Finish is crisp and clean. The simple approach works well for a summer beer. This is one of the better thirst-quenchers that I’ve had lately.

A nice pale golden color with very little head. Sweet aroma of honeysuckle and camomile. The taste is very clean and crisp. Some more of the honey comes through in the taste and has a great hops balance. There seems to be a slight spiciness in the aftertaste. Overall this is a very acceptable summer beer.
