kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 9, 2012
On tap. Pour a slightly hazy dark amber body with a small fizzy off-white head. The nose has a very Belgian yeast influence, lots of banana, some cotton candy like notes, light floral hops. The flavor is moderately bitter, but with a good bit more Belgian character than most if these Belgian IPAs that are out. Nice balance between the sweetness and the hops. Fairly noticeable alcohol for being just 6%. Medium bodied with nice fine prickly carbonation that enhanced the bitterness well. Nice beer.
