kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 15, 2013
Tap. Pours a mostly clear orange gold body with a small fizzy off-white head that had decent retention. The nose is bright and clean with lots of citrusy hops, the malt stays nicely in the background with just a little bit of a caramel note. The flavor is just as bright with a nice big hoppy flavor without being especially bitter up front. The bitterness comes out a bit more on the finish, but the level is just right, not harsh at all. I really like that this is so hop forward and that the malt is so subtle and in the background. Light to medium bodied with nice spritzy carbonation that really brings out the hoppiness. This is probably the best beer to date that I’ve had from River House since the new brewers took over. Well done guys. Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 10, 2013
The best beer of the brewery’s sampler by far. Orange hue with fluffy white head and lacing. Bodacious cascade hop aroma and bite. This truly was a great beer.
