Tap, brewpub, backlog. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small wispy off-white head. Very hoppy aroma, this eclipses many regular IPA’s in terms of intensity. Some caramel malt and a touch of crystal malt as well. The flavor is bright and crisp, just moderately bitter, much heavier on the aroma hops for sure. Some lingering caramel maltiness and a little citrusy hops hanging on as well. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with nice lively fizzy carbonation that enhances the bitterness that is there. Soft well rounded finish. Pretty nice Pale Ale, on the aggressive side for the style. Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 16, 2011
On tap at Pints for Pets. Great fresh grassy floral and sweet hops aroma. Juicy. Medium amber body, light haze, with foamy thin off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium-high carbonation. Starts very dry with carbonic acidity. Tons of hop flavor and bitterness, could use a bit more malt sweetness. Finishes dry with some tang and huge grassy hop bitterness. A bit sulfury at the end.
