Not a lot to talk about here. Taste initially was amazing on the bourbon. After another month in the cellar, much worse. More like an oxidized barrel aged beer. . Shouldn’t taste
Like this for a grand cru blend
Bomber. Sweet caramel and toffee malt with notes of whiskey, vanilla and just a touch of booze. Pours dark toffee colored with a thin off white head and negligible lacing. Sweet caramel and toffee malt flavors with a very smooth mouthfeel to start. Equally smooth on the finish with the malt melding with vanilla and whiskey with just a slight hint of booze. Delightful. Sweet, malty aroma. Taste is raisin, vanilla, caramel, and a little harshness from the booze. Not a ton of whiskey flavor. Light in the mouth with not a lot of carbonation. Not bad, not great, glad I tried it but wouldn't seek it out. Would be interesting to age for a while.

Murky brown pour with a few white bubbles but no real head. The aroma is full of chocolate, toffee, caramel and alcohol. The flavor has some very nice dark cherry notes as well as some grapes, toffee, caramel, oak and bourbon. The whiskey notes are not overpowering and add a lot to the beer. Low carbonation and medium mouthfeel. Errl (2442) - Plano, Texas, USA - NOV 29, 2013

Bottle @ Richard’s tasting. Copper pour with an off-white head. Nose is booze, root beer, and licorice. Sweet toffee, some molasses, whiskey, and a harsh solvent note. Flavor is root beer, licorice, molasses, and caramel. Whiskey, light vanilla, and alcohol. Pretty hot, somewhat abrasive. travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Bottle. The look is reddish brown, light tan head, and clear. The smell is fruit, bourbon, wood, toffee, alcohol. The taste is fruit, yeast, ok, weaker and less going on in the smell. jkwalking05 (4743) - Arlington, Texas, USA - AUG 11, 2013

Pours reddish gold with a bit of foamy white head. Aroma is light caramel malt. Taste is the same with some light barrel. This is their reserve batch? Pretty lame.
