Fantastic saison from a fantastic brewery! Slight pepper spice note great bright aroma. Very refreshing and easy, maybe too easy!

such a big fan of this style, and this one is right on par. Very true to Belgian-style which I think most don’t appreciate. Nice haze and head to it with a great nose.

22 oz bomber. This saison is up to par. It pours a nice hazy golden color. Earthy undertone with a slight hop presence. The ABV is a huge plus on this beer.

22oz bottle, high carb, poured golden to an organish hue. Funky, spicy, peppery with a touch of hop. true to style, high abv a plus!

22oz bomber, bottle conditioned pours golden liquid and finishes off with a slight white head. The Belgian yeast, as expected was very present but not overly strong like many farmhouse ales tend to be. Initial taste was semi sweet followed by tropical fruit notes and finished fairly dry. This beer had a medium body and overall a excellent saison to share amongst those who can appreciate.

onceblind (9700) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 15, 2012
Slightly hazy gold with a short but laceful white head. Delightful mix of aromas, like molasses, apricot syrup, toffee, and marmalade toast. Taste was much the same. Complex, sweet, and yeasty. Starts with some dark fruit tones, a little syrupy or some molasses, and then some light fruit times come in, like apricot and peach with some smooth saison yeast and a little doughy tone before the sweet pale malt and toffee tones come in to finish.

Very barnyardy, wet straw and grasses. Dark in color. High in alcohol. Not crisp like Funkwerks. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This Saison was extremely unique for me. The fact that they don’t add any spices to this Saison is pretty awesome, they rely solely on the Belgian yeast strain. Great carbonation, nice fluffy pillowly head, spices upfront with a nice malt backbone. Extremely approachable Saison with a little warming alcohol finish.

22oz bottle form Hazels in Boulder. Aroma is bready, and slightly spicy with some fruit funk. Taste is belgian yeast mixed with some spice and fruity ester. all spice and fruity notes are only from the yeast, no added spice or fruit to this saison, A deliciously traditional saison. This is what they should taste like!

22 oz bottle. Hazy yellow, fluffy white head. Grass, spice, some funk. Taste is fruit, malt, and kind of boozy for the style.
