On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome), Colorado Tap Takeover. Rame intensa con riflessi vermigli, schiuma leggera color avorio. Al naso sentori di mela grattuggiata, whisky, alcol, vaniglia, tantissimo legno, caramello. In bocca è piena, corposa, rotonda, dolce all’attacco con note alcoliche evidenti, finale appena bilanciato amaro. Corpo pieno, carbonazione media, superiore alle attese. Un po’ arrogante, ma buona. ippopotamo36 (2382) - Rome, ITALY - FEB 9, 2017

Bomber-the pour is cloudy brown with orange hues and medium thick brown head that lingers. The aroma is whiskey, oak and minor notes of sour. The taste is rich with caramel, raisins, and a brightness reminiscent of a citrus but not sure I am pegging the flavor. The finish is sweetened with a strong malt flavor and a good balance of carbonation to make the flavors pop. blueshockey24 (607) - Colorado, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Bomber. Pours Dark Amber. Aroma is sweet toffee cherry. Taste is sweet bourbon with a pecan pie aftertaste. I love it. onceblind (9629) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 13, 2015
Murky deep amber/copper with a thin Rocky light beige head. Big boozy rummy nose with brown sugar and raisin and dates and oak and something like cognac. Big flavor with dates and brandy and a kiss of Apple, some oak, brown sugar, raisin, and a little boozy heat near the finish. Big flavorful complex and woody quad. A bit strange and cognac-y but really tasty.

On tap at the brewery. Murky reddish, light brown appearance with a tan head. Aroma of oak, whiskey, dark malts, fruity esters, vanilla, candy sugar, yeast and light spice. Similar flavor, a touch boozy, but pretty smooth and complex. A nice full bodied sipper with a somewhat sweet finish. RABinCO (1511) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - AUG 30, 2014
Draft sample. Cola pour. No head. Aroma of wood and dark fruits. The wood adds a nice earthy balance that elevates this above the base beer and the rum barrel version. Still not great. Could never do a full glass. BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Release #1, bottle 13 of 300 from a trade. Fairly normal looking pour for a quadruple. Aroma is also true to form with some sweet malt and dark fruit plus molasses. The flavor again is a pretty nice quad and finishes with a little hint of the whiskey. Maybe a touch thin but nice. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - AUG 10, 2013
Thanks to errl for sharing this bottle. Medium-red pour with an off-white head. The aroma has some strong bourbon notes as well as some caramel and molasses. The flavor is similar with some cherry, toffee and bourbon notes coming through up front, and some maple and vanilla notes also being present. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
