Aroma is rich & boozy with some big sweet & fudgy elements, some caramel... Lots of whiskey, a pretty sizeable roast quotent.
The flavor is big, sweet, & boozy with plenty of roast & bitterness for balance. It’s chocolaty & plenty whiskey forward.

Tap at the brewery - pours pitch black - moderate lace - I’ve been meaning to revisit new batches of the base beer and this beer really motivates me - the whiskey barrel makes it a little boozy, but there is a lot of great stuff going on here - nose of brown sugar, tamarind, smoke, raisin, tannic notes - flavor hasa lot of earthy, peaty charactwr from the whiskey - sweet, but with a dry earthy whiskey and smoke quality - bittersweet chocolate - dark fruit - finish is a little hot, but this is fairly.
