Peterborough cask ale festival. Lots of hops. A strong session bitter as dry as a desert rat. A long dry, changing tail.
Cask (Peterborough BF 2007)
Deep orange with no head. Sickly sour fruit spoils the taste. Shows some potential, but probably a bad barrel. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2006

Albans BF. Appleskin, flat mouthfeel with some toffee like malts, bit flat, but tasty.
Copper colour. Quite dry with notable, dusty hop presence. Plenty of backbone, but drinks very easily for a relatively strong beer. Very dry finish, with lots of bite. Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival.

Amber/brown body, no head again. Lovely malt base complimented by a deep rooted hop base. All in all a pleasant bitter with some interest.
Cask Conditioned @ the Saturday session, St Albans Beer Festival 2004. Beer #5. I didn’t get the bitterness that other raters have noted, to me this as fruity and vaguely juicy. imdownthepub (15518) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2004
