Pours brown with a large head. Nose shows toasty and nutty malt, some soft roasted malt and bit of a cardboard note. Flavours include toasty, nutty and roasted malt. Carbonation is much too high.

Jado (805) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - NOV 8, 2015
From 330 ml bottle. Pours a dark red-brown with a lasting cream coloured head. Aromas of dark bread, flowers, lemon juice, pepper and cinnamon. Taste is firmly bitter, with burnt orange and pepper overlaying a rich malty base. Flavours of vanilla and spice towards the end. Quite full-bodied for the style. Nicely done interpretation.

Niksko (635) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - OCT 3, 2015
Amber, light tan head. Nose is caramel and citrus, roasted malt. Flavor is caramel, bitter orange, roasted toasted notes. Light body. Not bad, a little boring

From Bottle. Wow! Pours very dark for an amber, almost opaque not the prettiest colour but a large rich long lasting head. Drank delicious and balanced. really enjoyed it

Maris (1613) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - JUL 31, 2015
From a 330ml bottle on 31/7/2015. Pours a very dark amber with a big fluffy head. The nose is sweet and malty - caramel and toffee, wuth some light yeast in the background. In the mouth, there’s more caramel and toffee malt, quite nutty and a little herbal. Finishes with a firm, satisfying, slightly grapefruity hop bitterness. The palate is creamy and carbonation moderate. This is a really tasty hoppy amber. Have tried three beers from these guys so far and all have been excellent.

330ml bottle. Murky, amber-brown colour with a generous tan head which lasted well and left some nice lacing. Aroma of pine resin dominates with some caramel. Light / medium sweetness gives way to a medium / heavy bitterness. Smooth, medium bodied, generous carbonation and a dry, roastiness. Very long lasting pine resin stickiness in the finish. Pretty decent. 7.

Pours a dark amber colour with a bubbly, pale brown coloured head. The aroma is of hops and malt. It has a moderately bitter and resinous flavour that is surprisingly long-lasting on the palate. Another excellent beer by Riverside.

TedE (1544) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JAN 30, 2015
330ml bottle into glass. Alcohol malt nose. Dark prune juice colour with soapy off white head. Bitter taste followed by dark chocolate finish. Alcohol warmth is present throughout. Good, not great.
