Bottle poured into glass at mumu grill. Pours hazy deep orange gold with resilient off white decent sized tight head. Passionfruit, pine, citrus and tropical fruit on the nose atop of a light caramel malt character. Hops at the forefront. Body is medium-light, a touch of malt character, but a fruit salad of hops are there with a medium flavour and bitterness. ABV well cared for, however some odd flavours; salty, mineral and light veg are apparent on the finish. Overall well done. Pity the Americans do them so much better.

Bottle. Copper with attractive off white creamy head and strong lacing. Underwhelming aroma, although it improves as it warms up. Nutty malts, earth and resin hops. Huge, fresh hop punch in the front palate - resinous pine, grapefruit, earth. Massive biscuity malt background with some slight sweetness to the mid to back palate. Some warming alcohol, but not too harsh. Long lasting bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle into glass. Medium strength nose - pine and citrus. Orange brown colour. Decent head. Alcohol come through, but rather than burn, mellows out the bitterness.

Day 22 of 2016 Advent Calendar..., and one I thought already off the ranks.
Into a snifter at cellar temperature - as I love my strong ales. Almost bright in the glass; a deep orange with a thinly film of white. Super piney, herbaceous, sappy and resinous is the nose with just a whiff of grapefruit, lime and cantaloupe. Palate holds more on the drier tip. Piney, sappy with hints of eucalypt, bitter herbs and camphor. Moderate body with similar carbonation. Bitter with plenty of grapefruit, blood orange and tangy vinous fruit. Dry in the fruity swallow as well as the mid palate. Rose water plays a big part as it develops. Musky finish and linger. Heavy handed though the alcohol was all but non-existent. Worth another try. I liked it - I didnt. On the fence for this one!!! (33cL, no date stamp, Boozebud)

Cloudy orange golden with brown/white head. Sweet, floral aroma. Nice and hoppy taste as you would hope, that lingers but not for too long. Very easy drinking for 7.7%. Cracking beer!!

Bottle - pours dark orange with a small lacy head. Aroma is tropical fruit, lots of fruit. Taste is resin hop upfront with a bit of fruit, then a caramel bittersweet finish. Medium palate.

One of my favourite IPAs. It has great depth of flavour from start to finish and is thoroughly enjoyable. Unlike some other IPAs, I usually stick to only one or two of these before moving onto something a little lighter. I wouldnt recommend this beer for the newly converted or those just dabbling their feet in the boutique beer keg for the first time.

Pours dark amber with a large head. Nose shows heavy malt, honey, caramel and soft resinous piny hops. Flavours include more honey and caramel along with floral and spicy hops hinting at Earl Grey tea.

Draught as part of a paddle at Yardarm Taphouse, Sydney, on October 12, 2015.
Malty, fruity, alcohol taste. Bitter, resin aftertaste. Medium a bit fizzy mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Clear deep golden color, off-white head with lacing. Malty, fruity, tutti frutti scent.

Poured a cloudy dark golden amber colour with a one-finger off-white frothy head that retained for quite a while and laced well. Carbonation moderate to high and fine. Aroma of beautiful fruity hops (citrus, hints of passionfruit), spices and hints of malt; alcohol very well hidden. Taste from start to finish dominated by a really nice bitterness plus spices, citrus, tropical fruits which made me want more; alcohol well hidden. Light to medium body. Smooth and crisp with a lingering moderately strong bitterness on the finish. Very nice and tasty and a good beer!
