Smells nice enough, kind of vaguely Blueberry, I guess. Flavor is very artificial, not fresh at all. Kind of difficult to drink, actually. Seems a little stale, as well.

Pretty synthetic with some off flavors. Can’t really pinpoint blueberry and unfortunately this didn’t seem much like a fruit beer at all.

Bottle, pours clean brass with minimal rimy head, tons of straightforward blueberry aroma, super corny malt flavor with blueberry on finish

Yellow beer out of the bottle with a fizzy white head. Nose of fresh blueberries and biscuits. Very effervescent beer. This is much better than I expected. Light and clean with a gentle tart blueberry sense to it without being overpowering or artificial. Bready malt with some canned corn, but most of that is hidden. Some doughy yeast in the finish. I could see this being a good lawn mower beer in the summer.

On tap at brewery. Taster, overly carbed, slightly bitter and strong on blueberry. Wish the malt was smoother and the blueberry wasn’t as in your face.

Aroma is blueberries and beery. The flavor is similar to the aroma plus a mild grain sweetness and a slightly off/rough palate.

Clear straw with a light head and small swirls of lace. The taste underwhelms - bitter malt with blueberry flavoring. There’s really nothing else going on. Not recommended.

Draft to taster at Rivertown. Looks okay; a light gold with good carbonation and thin white lacing. Smells and tastes a lot better than it does in bottles; sweet and blueberry. Average on the palate. MUCH better than it is in bottles.

esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 5, 2012
Straw yellow with a quickly dissipating off-white head. Aroma of blackberry soda and malt. Taste is not very food. Light blueberry and malt with some light skunkines and tartness. Over carbonated and just not very good.

FunkyBrewster (1518) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 21, 2012
12 oz bottle. Pours light golden with a small quickly fading white head. Aroma is of sweet blueberry muffins, a bit extracty since it seems syrupy sweet. A touch of honey and breadiness. Flavor strong on the blueberry muffin again, quite sweet but quickly giving way to graininess and a soft bread finish. Light to medium body and a crisp carbonation. Not all bad, just pretty straightforward, refreshing if you enjoy that blueberry sugary sweetness
