3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled poured a white medium head that lasts. Light clear amber color. Very carbonated at first it needed to settle. Taste is crisp, clean and balanced. Probably a better beer for summer than mid winter but quite nice as a change of pace.
Nice crisp refreshing brew. Not spectacular but solid.
Sorry these notes were just for myself now I have to publish them with so many characters, hence this sentence.

This is tolerably decent. It is clear golden and mostly headless. It has a slightly earthy hop character and a simple sweet maltiness to it on reasonable balance. This medium bodied and briskly carbonated. A touch of butterscotch comes out in the finish along with a solid earthy bitterness. I can drink this. I mean, it’s not good but I can drink it. shadey (2149) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 20, 2014
On tap at East Nashville Beer Festival 2014. I have been mostly impressed by Rivertown offerings. I especially like their dedication to european styles. This one was delicious. Sweet, grainy, toasty. Flavorful and refreshing. hotstuff (5233) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 18, 2014
Rated on 11-21-2011 (Bottle) The appearance of this beer is a fizzy white head that mostly diminishes, transparent pale yellow body, fast rising, fizzy carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. This beer’s aroma is malt, grainy, grassy hops, and crisp. The flavor is sweet, grainy, malt, grassy hops, and some corn. The mouthfeel is soft carbonation and this beer is light bodied. This beer has a very thin texture but the flavor is weak and unexciting. nathan30533 (1020) - Clifton, Ohio, USA - MAR 5, 2014
Good beer. Maybe banana taste in this one. Great tasting new style brew for me. Loved it.

This was a really nice Helles. Mild and sweetish with a finish thick on the tongue. stangger (619) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Bottle from Arvin. Mildly bitter, spicy, honey, lager yeast. Pretty decent for a style I’m not huge on. nuplastikk (6418) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 21, 2013
12oz shorty bottle. Faint hiss when opened. Just barely carbonated...bad seal job. Hazy and unfiltered, which is counter-intuitive regarding the Helles style. A nice pleasant earthy noble hop aroma. This is a nice countryside Lager, makes me think of Landbier or Kellerbier more than a Helles. Has that green bohemian feel I want in the style, but not the perfect body, mouthfeel. I’m sure this is quite nice on tap, fresh at the brewery. Finhead (1800) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - AUG 12, 2013
Hazy, yellow pour with a small white head. It has a malty aroma of barley and bread. The body is light and crisp with lively carbonation. It has a sweet taste with a smooth finish. burg326 (5596) - Florida, USA - MAR 3, 2013
12 ounce bottle pours a clear golden yellow color with aromas of burnt grain, caramel, butter and some grass. Flavors follow suit, a basic lager overall.
