On tap at the brewery: clear gold pour, thin white head. aroma of grass, pine, citrus. tastes are resiny grapefruit citrus, caramel, perfume. fairly bitter finish. nice. - 7.4 Aurelius (5436) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 13, 2014
Resinous, katty, grapefruit, pineapple aroma with some off sulphurous whiffs. Squat 12 oz bottle. Cool label. Foggy oakwood brew. Mineral, citrus pith, lightly diacetyl, bittering comes off a little over-brewed. Stiff bittering in the finish and aftertaste. Mouthy enough. Like another Aretha impersonator on karaoke night... The bits were all there...loud but not quite coming together. ABC Liquors, Betton. PorterPounder (8183) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 10, 2014
Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Slightly hazy medium golden pour, quickly fading bubbly white head. Aroma has a resiny hoppy bite to it with a hint of cat urine spiciness. Strong citrus backbone with just the right amount of syrupy maltiness to keep it interesting without being overbearing or cloying. A hint of bready spiciness and a touch of pepper-like vegetable notes. Mouthfeel has a decent thickness to it. Decent. wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 23, 2014
From notes. Tasted on 6/30/12 at the 1st Annual Chimipalooza, from 12oz bottle courtesy Cathy Bass. Pours clear orange with an average white head that slowly recedes to average, sticky lace. The nose is tons of citrus and resin hops with some caramel and bread malt. The flavor is even more citrus hops, some resin and herbal notes with the same nice caramel and bread mat backbone. The body is medium with lively, stinging carbonation and a long bitter citrus hops finish. TheHOFF43 (2052) - Robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA - JUL 12, 2014
Bottle. Pours a dark amber/copper with minimal white head. Aroma is strong hops, citrus and nice. Taste is hoppy, bitter with a lot of malt in the backbone. Hops are well represented, not overly done. Solid, somewhat boozy, nothing special but decent.

Amber pour with a white head. Aromas of citrus hops with notes of pine and flowers. Flavor is bitter hops upfront with not as many of the hop flavors so much as the hop bitterness. An alright brew but not nearly as complex as what I’ve come to expect from a DIPA. edgallow (4312) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 19, 2014
12 oz bottle pours amber with a white head. Aroma of citrus, pine , malts and caramel. Taste is grapefruit, malts and resin. hotstuff (5209) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 18, 2014
Rated on 11-27-2011 (Bottle) When poured, this beer has a medium sized fizzy off-white head that mostly diminishes, mostly transparent/slightly hazy golden body, very fizzy, fast rising carbonation observed, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is malt, some grain, pine, grapefruit, and fruity. The flavor is lightly bitter, grapefruit, citrus hops, and malt. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. The hops are upfront as they should be for the style, but they are over-the-top hoppy tasting. This beer is worth trying. rondphoto (4488) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - MAR 31, 2014
@ Jungle Jims / Eastgate OH --- Hazy dark amber, generous frothy white head, stringers of lace. Taste is caramel malt that stays steady through the palate until the swallow, where strong piney hops appear on the rebound. Strong, drinkable, not too heavy, a good standard strong IPA. Pours a very dark amber almost clear brown color. Big malty aroma, caramel malts, toasty character, light resiny hop. Malty flavor as well, same resiny type hop character. Not sure how old this is, not offensive in any way just doesn’t seem fresh.
