Sediment on bottom of bottle. Slight haze on a pale beer. Smell is certainly IPA hops. I always thought the rudeness in IPA came from the hi alky % but these session IPA prove that wrong. Yes, terribly on style, nasty nellie long bitter hops finish wew. Each slug is full ipa, sometimes IIPA, charisma. Is there such a style as a session IIPA? If so, put this in it.

Squat 12oz bottle, OK label, good logo. Misty, oaken gold, thin white head. Pleasing, balanced aroma with some sweet lemon iced tea notes. Slight peachy notes, generally pretty dry, a little crackery, decent bittering but a few off, sulphury malt tones. Medium body, slightly light carbonation. Dry, crisp finish. Not bad. New Leaf Market.

PPurchased fron the Glenway Avenue Krogers in Cincinnati, Ohio - This is a very tastey, golden hued session IPA that’s a perfect example of the beer type and well balanced. Another one, please, Nancy!

malrubius (2959) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - JUN 18, 2014
Bottle from Save On. Gold with small head and a little lace. Tangerine herb and pine aroma. Mild fruity peach sweetness with fairly complex woody pine and citrus rind medium assertive bitter dry finish. Light body but not watery. Excellent session IPA and not trying to disguise itself as anything else by have a full unattenuated sweet body.

Can. Poured yellow with a white head. Big citrus and hay aroma. Smells really nice. Flavor is mild and grassy. Small hop bitterness that fades fast.

PorterPounder (8174) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 13, 2014
Tallahassee. Fl - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy medium orange with a soft silky snow white head that leaves just a hint of lacing. Aroma is earthy with slight piney hop goodness, some floral accents. Flavor has a nice solid hoppy backbone, some light saffron and peppery vegetable accents. Decent, thick sticky mouthfeel. Pretty solid.

osu97gp (678) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 31, 2014
Pours a clear pale yellow with a large white head. Aroma of sweet malts, bread, and floral hops. Flavor of grassy hops and light malt. Pretty good for a session IPA

shadey (2142) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 21, 2014
Growler. Bright gold color, no head. Aroma is sweet and hoppy. Light body but big on flavor. Very clean and refreshing. Delicious summer beer.

beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - MAY 15, 2014
Can courtesy of phaleslu. Clear light pale orange golden. Fair frothy white head that sticks around leaving some nice lace. Minimal aroma - light touches of the flavor notes; biscuit, floral, citrus, and grass leading. Light bodied. Not crisp. Fairly soft. Light citrus, orange, grapefruit. Biscuit. Floral. Moderate grassy bitterness and some light citrus that doesn’t linger too long. Semi dry. It accomplishes the objective of being a session IPA. Good but not special.

MarinEvelyn (854) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 12, 2014
Color is very light, pale, almost translucent. Initially, not much of an aroma. Taste is a fairly nice mix of bitter and hoppy and sweetness. Leaves a slight dry, bitter finish but not too much. Light citrus, grassy, light floral.
