12 ounce bottle. It was like drinking seltzer water with a slightly spiced, alcoholic, wortlike after taste. It was not only the pumpkin ale I’ve ever drank it was probably the worst beer I’ve ever drank. gnoff (10713) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 7, 2012
Bottle 355 ml thanks to rhialistic! Sampled on October 6, 2012Panzuriel (2324) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Hazy copper color, small white head. Fruity, sweet scent. Sweet, metallic taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
Rtb pumpkin pours rich red brown slightly hazy. Nose is mild spice and meaty pumpkin scent. Body is fluid and lightly carbonated. Taste is mellow with a good amount of cinnamon and clove without it being too much. Slightly warming. Nice finish. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - OCT 5, 2012
Tap at New Albanian. Sweet pumpkin malt, nutmeg aroma - like pumpkin pie meets eggnog. Amber with a small off-white head. Pumpkin malt, cinnamon, and nutmeg flavor with a ginger finish. Medium creamy body, Outstanding pumpkin ale. shrubber85 (11508) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - OCT 5, 2012
Draft. Nutmeg, light cinnamon and pumpkin malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet nutmeg, cinnamon, and pumpkin malt flavor with a strong ginger finish. Very smooth. A hit even with my wife who has hated almost every beer (except for the ultra-sweet lambics) she has ever tried.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2012 Draft sample (twice) at Jungle Jims. They had sold out or I would have gotten more than a sample. This pumpkin beer is on par with Pumking (my fave). Great depth of flavor with a rich, silky mouthfeel. Well done. I liked it enough to buy a growler too. GnarlyGnome (770) - Fairfield, Ohio, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Bottle: pours a nice brown color with a tan head. Aroma of wonderful cinnamon and nutmeg. The pumpkin hits you when you taste it. Well done, great example of a fall seasonal. I love the stuff this brewery is doing. AdamChandler (5113) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 29, 2012
Out of the 12oz bottle. Acquired in a trade and enjoyed at fridge temp in a snifter. Half a finger off-white head that fades fast. Deep amber color. Nice and hazy. Scent is full of tons of nutmeg and cinnamon. Hint of sweet molasses. Taste is loaded with pumpkins but it’s sort of muted / cheap tasting. It’s not all that powerful of a taste profile..sort of cutting corners pumpkin taste. Almost no spices and an overly sweet finish with this rotten apple fast. Medium body. Jabic (636) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Ar: Cinnamon, a hint of toasted malt.
Ap: Orange, clear - small white head with poor retention and a thin ring of foam.
T: Deep caramel and brown sugar, some squash flavor - medium-sweet, cinnamon and nutmeg, a bit of allspice - finish has some anise - low bitterness.
P: Medium body, medium carbonation - finish is medium-dry.
O: Good session pumpkin ale - has good malt flavor, spicing, and a pleasant amount of sweetness. gizmo_ber (190) - Steinwenden, GERMANY - SEP 15, 2012
Got this in a pint for the brewery tour. Wished I had picked any other (did tasting after tour). No head, not much aroma, very little flavor profile. Seemed like I was drinking the uncarbed/unseasoned wort. Slight pumpkin in the background, otherwise tasted of malt and water.
