Bottle: pours a nice brown color with a tan head. Aroma of wonderful cinnamon and nutmeg. The pumpkin hits you when you taste it. Well done, great example of a fall seasonal. I love the stuff this brewery is doing. Drjohnrock (761) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 11, 2011
Sample from bottle at 2011 Cincinnati Beer Fest on Fountain Square. Medium to dark amber color, sweet aroma of spices and pumpkin, thin body, moderate bittersweet flavor--can actually taste the pumpkin as well as the spices. A little like an alcoholic pumpkin pie. Not the biggest pumpkin beer I’ve ever tasted but certainly satisfactory. Chuckaduck (674) - Highland Heights, Kentucky, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Pours a somewhat hazy reddish orange with no head. Aroma is pumpkin pie, spices, brown sugar. Flavor is pumpkin, spice, herbal, a little bitter. Medium body. What I really enjoyed about this beer was that it tasted like pumpkin, not like pumpkin pie spice; this is a problem I have with some other pumpkin ales but not here. This is a nice pumpkin ale for the fall. pdx76 (651) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 10, 2014
Pours clear copper with almost no head. Nose of thanksgiving pumpkin pie. Taste is of spice, pumpkin, and bitter hop. Not bad!

Light brown foam. Mild pumpkin and spice flavor. More spice than pumpkin. One of the better pumpkin beers I have tasted.

Light orange pour. Interesting for a pumpkin. Lots of nutmeg, lots of spice, not a lot of pumpkin. More like a spiced ale, and would get a higher rating if the label matched the product. GMUcrew7 (577) - Mason, Ohio, USA - NOV 20, 2010
Caramel color with a small light tan head that dissipates quickly. Caramel, brown sugar, with a little bit of cinnamon and vegetable aromas, not distinctly pumpkin though. Sweet malty dark sugar flavor with a bit of a spiced kick on the finish, again there is a little bit of a veggie taste but not exclusively pumpkin. Medium body, it is a good beer (and not sour like some of the others in the mix pack an obvious plus) but not very pumpkiny (a good thing maybe?) Jabic (564) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Ar: Cinnamon, a hint of toasted malt.
Ap: Orange, clear - small white head with poor retention and a thin ring of foam.
T: Deep caramel and brown sugar, some squash flavor - medium-sweet, cinnamon and nutmeg, a bit of allspice - finish has some anise - low bitterness.
P: Medium body, medium carbonation - finish is medium-dry.
O: Good session pumpkin ale - has good malt flavor, spicing, and a pleasant amount of sweetness. pottygok (548) - Ohio, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Aroma: Pumpkin quite clear, along with clove and nutmeg aromas. Smells very much like pumpkin pie.
Appearance: Light amber with no head.
Taste: Medium sweetness with light bitterness in the beginning.
Palate: Medium body, crisp texture, average carbonation, long sweet finish.
Overall: Meh...too much spice here, which overpowers the pumpkin flavors, and the beer flavors. Shot (520) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - SEP 26, 2014
On tap. Hazy copper color with a thin head that dissipates completely. Aromas of sweet malt and pumpkin spice. Flavors are flimsy--muted pumpkin, cinnamon, a slight herbal tone and muted hops. Thin, fizzy mouthfeel. Not really very impressive.
