Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Appearance is a clear amber with a thick khaki colored head of foam. Tons of carbonation bubbles floating to the top of the beer. Sheets of lacing as the head dissolves. Aroma is cinnamon, pumpkin pie spices, malts, nutmeg. Taste is lightly pumpkin pie. biscuity malts and creamy pumpkin pie filling. Another solid beer from Rivertown Brewing. tmongoose (2504) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - AUG 14, 2013
Bottle shared pours medium orange color, with off white head. Nice aroma of pumpkin and some mild spices which is a turn around from the norm. The flavor is very good solid pumpkin flavor with some mild cinnamon flavor. As far as pumpkin beers this one is pretty good. Dal9000 (674) - Ohio, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Light brown foam. Mild pumpkin and spice flavor. More spice than pumpkin. One of the better pumpkin beers I have tasted.

Rtb pumpkin pours rich red brown slightly hazy. Nose is mild spice and meaty pumpkin scent. Body is fluid and lightly carbonated. Taste is mellow with a good amount of cinnamon and clove without it being too much. Slightly warming. Nice finish. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 27, 2012
Copper pour at GABF. Lots of roasted squash up front with some very nice pumpkin pie spices, and even a hitn of sugary crust! Flavor is lightly sweet, spice, pumpkin. Pretty good example of the style!

Pours a somewhat hazy reddish orange with no head. Aroma is pumpkin pie, spices, brown sugar. Flavor is pumpkin, spice, herbal, a little bitter. Medium body. What I really enjoyed about this beer was that it tasted like pumpkin, not like pumpkin pie spice; this is a problem I have with some other pumpkin ales but not here. This is a nice pumpkin ale for the fall. Patrickctenchi (6810) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAR 31, 2013

Scent is pumpkin, cinnamon.
Taste is tart pumpkin, nutmeg.

Lexington Fest of Ales. Amber body. Pumpkin aroma and flavor. Pumpkin spice. Decent. rangerred (989) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - DEC 1, 2013
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a clear dark copper with a very tiny fizzy head. It almost seems like the cap wasn’t seated properly or maybe it is just under carbonated. Either way not very impressive.
The aroma is quite nice and tends to be somewhat heavy on the molasses and cinnamon. There is almost a little roast with it. Reallly good spice to this one and it doesn’t overwhelm in the smell. Good balance.
The flavor is quite nice as well. Brown sugar and caramel up front with a touch of cinnamon. There is a really nice malt character but sweetness is kept in check. No hops really at all but there is a mild bitterness in the finish. Nice, full mouthfeel ending with a touch of sweetness.
Overall, a really nice pumpkin ale. The spices are not too overwhelming and you can really taste the malt. Well done. SudsMcDuff (8541) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - JUN 1, 2014
