COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Crafted for the ones that are free to enjoy their Porter all year round. This rich, Imperial Porter combines the perfect blend of LaTerza espresso, vanilla and innovation into a big, rich, chocolate, espresso infused brownie of a beer that is as innovative as its namesake. Rivertown was asked to craft a beer for a community festival in 2011 which celebrated the 145th Birthday of the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge linking Cincinnati, OH and Covington, KY. This Imperial Porter is inventive, unique, well balanced, strong, and has been created to be as timeless and remarkable as the Roebling Bridge, the man who dreamed big and the community that brought that dream to life.

This is the best beer on tap that I have ever had. I am looking for it in Nashville. They serve it at The Pharmacy and showcased at the East Nashville Beer Craft Beer Fest. If anyone has found it, would love to know where!

My only wish is that there were some bourbon involved. The title of imperial porter is not wasted on this beer. Bordering on stout, I enjoyed the barrel and coffee flavors while savoring the coffee after. This is a good one to enjoy when everyone else is asleep and the sun is coming up.

12 oz bottle poured into a frosted pint glass. Little aroma and just a lacy head. Complex flavours but basically it made be think of a chocolate malt with a kick.

On draft from fox & hound in Ohio. A black porter with a small creamy "coke" colored head with minimal lacing. A deep chocolate and coffee aroma with a hint of vanilla. Taste was similar to aroma - chocolate up front with a long lasting slightly bitter coffee finish with mild vanilla undertones. Mouth feel was nice, smooth & lightly creamy. Very little alcohol taste or burn for a 7.6%ABV. I very good chocolate vanilla porter that I hope to drink again ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very nice porter. Pours a deep dark brown. Light tan head. Smells of chocolate, vanilla, and coffee. Taste of the same. Complex flavors meld well together. Easy to drink. Very even taste. Not overly malty or hoppy. Will definetly drink again.

Chocolate dominates this.brew, but it is dry and bitter. It is excellent. Perfect carbonation. This brew is awesome!

Tap at Publicity Nashville: strong nose of cocoa; great lacing; taste of dark chocolate. A beer brownie for sure. A stellar chocolate porter! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
